Christmas greetings, everyone…Margot, CT, eCAHN, suzanne, newton, Cassie, LL, greenwarrior, bigbrother, Christine…it’s snowing in Nebraska, where this SoCal girl is visiting. Beautiful flakes, big and wet and sticky, looking forward to sledding tomorrow with my sprout.

As a peace officer, when you saw the rampant looting of Iraq after the invasion. could you justify that. This was planned mayhem. I cannot find any justification for our military presence in Iraq. We removed Hussein because among other things he was an evil dictator that tortured people in his dungeaons to maintain his dictatorship. He was a mass murdrer, which Bush says justifies our mass murder of the Iraqi population. This is Christian love Texas style. Yahoo. Of course all this justifies our secrert torture sites world wide and use of techniques that violates the geneva convention and puts any of our troops that are captured at risk of the same and worse. This is a path down which no nation should go.

I’m sitting here, wearing my new plaid jammies (with pockets), nibbling on my christmas ham (courtesy of my brother) and truffles from the chocolate hippies, listening to KPIG playing all kinda wacky Christmas tunes commercial free, and listening to Token snore after he had his share of ham and lamb tonight.

The feeling I am enjoying most tonight is the feeling of progress having been made this past year. We’ve done lots of good this year pups, and I’m dayam proud of you.
