I know that it would almost certainly be futile in terms of actually winning, but it might be worth it anyway. Just like the candidates in 2006 (was Jane Harman one?) who got scared enough to move back away from the right, if Pelosi had an opponent who got even 20% of the vote in the primary, it could send her a message. A lot of her arrogance and sloppiness comes from feeling that she’s safe in her district. Wouldn’t hurt her to find out that a certain percentage of her own constituents aren’t happy with her performance.</p> Has anyone thought about running against Pelosi in the primary?
