Oh the inclusion of the Shonen Knife cut makes me remember their Christmas fans single, which was a great take-off on the old Beatles Christmas fan single where they talked about “jelly babies” and stuff.

I’m a little stir crazy right now from staring at the same 4 walls but otherwise in decent spirits from the Firepups leaving such kind comments at my place Monticello. The nurses here are awesome (and very cute I might add)

I was donating blood again this Monday, hoping the cute nurse from the last time would be there, but no luck.

This week wasn’t too good for me – a family member is in hospital and I got a couple of rejections from potential employers (I graduated college two months ago and have been jobless since then).

Hey, Busted. A buncha us pups were wondering where you’ve been! Good to see you!

It’s not Christmas time until I hear “Christmas Wrapping” (R.I.P. Patty) and I love the King’s version of “Blue Christmas” Happy Holidays everyone!

I know what is a blood orange. They are used in Costa Rica. Rather like a small sour orange with a red fruit inner. Used like a garnish like a lemon or lime segment. I am not familiar with red orange soda. Please fill me in.

The bottle I have is from Italy. It’s more like sparling water with blood orange juice then soda, lightly carbonated. In southern Italy and Sicily they use a lot of blood oranges, very similar to what you describe.

I don’t mean to make anyone jealous… but my neighbor has a blood orange tree and they’re almost ready for pickin’.

OT Evil Harry Reid is on the NewsHour: We got quite a bit done, but not much. He says that he would agree with polls that say Congress has not done much. Now talking about supporting the troops, says the soldiers have behaved brilliantly. He says he visited Walter Reed and the troops there said to get us out of Iraq as quickly as possible. [So why doesn’t Reid fight for them and get them out? Reid is showing how ineffectual he is. Gosh, this is really bad. Somebody should do something about this. Harry, that’s you. You’re the one who is supposed to do something. None of this explains either why he is being such a malicious weasel on the FISA bill.]

Very nice, I can imagine how tasty fresh picked ones would be. I’ve had some organically grown ones, and I enjoyed them a lot. The supermarket variety by Sunkist are marginal.
