Pups, I don’t think it is any secret that I, like so many here, am a huge fan of both Hugh’s List and Bob in Hawaii’s Priming the Pump wiki. I think both of these projects will turn out to be of mammoth importance in maintaining a usable historical record, not only for impeachment and prosecution purposes — should we ever fully restore the rule of law — but for the even more lasting judgment of history.
Well, Hugh’s List has been getting some additional exposure lately and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate that and spread the word.
Edward Teller put a great post up over at Progressive Alaska about printing out and displaying the then 60 foot long scroll of Hugh’s List. It has great photos and is just a terrific idea for getting people to pay attention. One very cool bit of political demonstration. It could be replicated anywhere—and maybe should be?
Of course the list has, ahem, grown a bit since ET did his bit of performance art, so I’m guessing you will need longer paper. *g*
Now Katymine reports that Hugh’s List will be on the radio in the great state of Arizona!
katymine December 19th, 2007 at 7:54 pm 143
If Hugh is still around, I directed our Phoenix Talk show host on 1480 Progressive Radio to your list of Bush Scandals and starting the first of the year he will be addressing one every day next year. He does not have enough business days for the full list.
So, lets give a big Firedoglake round of applause for our own beloved Hugh, Master of Toobz media, Trees media, and now Radio.
BTW folks, two "take aways" from this:
1) Even though we are all spread out — I mean, gosh, folks in Alaska, Arizona and Hawaii fer Christmas’ sake — we have the ability to be force multipliers for each other and can accomplish so much working together.
2) We can replicate this. Just think about how cool it would be if in public spaces all over the country people unfurled a scroll of the list and then handed out little fliers with the web addresses for Hugh’s List, Priming the Pump and info on how to call, email and fax the local Congresscritters. Think of the impact of all those contacts in support of Dodd. What if we could reach people in the streets and activate them as well?

About Firedoglake
Aloha, LHP~!
WAY TO GO HUGH!
Congrats, Hugh!
But a few of us have been telling him to get that thing published by a trade publishing house and get it out to the masses…
Heh, you Mainlanders are now recognizing us in the Isles and Alaska… ;-)
Terrific work, Hugh. Thanks.
Doesn’t someone have a in with KO? It would be great to get the scroll on his show.
Congrats, Hugh! & a wonderful idea for Phoenix progressive radio, katymine. I’ve emailed links to Hugh’s site to everyone on my addy list many times so as to include updates.
Where’s the birthday boy? He was just over @ emptywheel’s commenting…
The problem is, it needs almost daily updating, so it would be obsolete the day after publication ;-)
oooh, when the right wingers on the bluegrass-l hear what Bob in Hawaii’s done…
I guess that’s an inside joke for bob.
I left him a note to make sure he didn’t miss his own party. Maybe he’s just enjoying reading all the attaboys
Yep. I had a strange sense I was walking into something special when I came to the Lake in June 2006. There’s no question that it has changed my life considerably. Thanks, Jane, Christy, and everyone else! Y’all know who you are. The list would be too long (like Hugh’s…*g*) if I mentioned everyone I know…
Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah for Hugh!
Great post LHP, I appreciate the fact that Hugh is getting this very apt recognition for a(n ongoing) job well done. I happened to mention your list when I wrote an e-mail to Chris Dodd, gave him links to Edward Teller’s website with the picture and that he could follow the link in that post to read your list. But really, why stop with one Congress person. They should all know about your list. Shock them into reality, I say! The list is quite impressive! Maybe if everyone sent a copy to each of their congress people, they will start to pay attention and start counting high crimes and misdemeanors.
That’s why it’s taylor made for TV, a visual medium. He should preserve the first scroll of shame, and each time he gets on some show, compare the recent one with the first one.
How about a YouTube video which we could try to get to go viral?
But of course: You’re absolutely right! How could I have forgotten that most important point? The list of scandals is ongoing and relentless. How utterly naive of me. (But I don’t want to beat up too much on myself…*g*)
Yeah, but if they’ve got the link to the site, they should know to look each time a new crisis hits the news. This is not, after all, rocket science.
At Christmas time, when people have “lists” for Santa…. wouldn’t a photo (complete with Santa) for your local paper be nice? Or perhaps some website could do this or maybe lots of them.
Or you could have someone unfurl Hugh’s list for Santa. And then another list of names of people who are making a list and counting it twice for impeaching bush.
I found Hugh’s list before I knew where to find Hugh. And I add my congratulations, Hugh! Glad I could do it “personally.” Thanks for all your hard work on behalf of our country.
So, if ET shows up, we gotta find out where he got the LOOOOOONG paper and how he fed it into his printer to make the cool scroll.
I was serious about doing it in public. That’s what ET did. What a nice, information rich, non-violent (sorry no pitchforks and torches for this one) form of protest.
And think of many new firepups would discover the Lake. How many times in the comments have people asked for ideas of things to do to raise PUBLIC awareness.
This both raises public awareness and if succesful (with the info on the flyers) could pretty much imediately convert those members of the public into activits–if only for a day.
But some will keep doing it, once they find out how. Talk about force multiplying
Oh I’m sure he’s around. He was around in the last thread… He might be lurking on this one. He’s such a modest fella, and quite a polymath: from Latin to politics to medicine to French to history to literature, and so on and so on.
I think ET was counseled to go with the smaller size font and margins so that the nay-sayers weren’t given an opportunity to set up a mis-direction straw person on how environmentally bad it was to print all these pages.
That would probably still apply but there should be ways to finesse it using the original scroll with add-ons, maybe, different color paper to show the add-on contrast as it grows?
EPUd. eCAHN did you see my question downstairs?
Three cheers for Hugh!
in honor of his vast knowledge of just about everything, I trot out an oldie – a reply to one of the rare times he’s ever been stumped or puzzled about anything:
“Hugh? Stunned? We’ve got a problem.”
Are we still talking about KO? He could do what the AZ radio station is doing, read one per night
Print it on toilet paper.
IIRC, he used standard 8 1/2 by 11 paper, one inch side margins and 10 point helvetica font then taped the pages top and bottom so one continuous scroll.
This is too early for an OT, but, I can’t wait for an appropriate thread…
Ya’ll may rememeber that my 80 year old mother had a huge car accident last week. Well, I just got off the phone with the insurance company who a week ago said the car was being towed to a shop for them to access the damage. Didn’t happen. Mom told me the guy apologized.
Not good enough. I called to see if she is going to be charged the 80 plus a day charge for the car to stay and the towing place. The guy assured me that they would “eat” the charges. Right. I pointed out that all their insured would pay that in increased rates. He corrected me by saying that rates go up because of fraud.
Who’s fraud? The insureds or the insurance company’s incompetance.
Thanks for indulging me. I bet you all understand my frustration!
hugh b da MAN!
not only his list but his posts are incredibly insightful to say the very least
That’s 8 1/2×11 taped together? Really?
Wow, it is so meticulously done, it looks like one long piece of paper
Like I say, I’m pretty sure that’s how he did it so there is a lot of brute force/grunt work involved there. But well worth it for the simple visual.
BTW, where are EdwardTeller and Bob?
They are at the honorees table today, too.
Great Scotch! (tape)
Wow, what a good idea! What did they do with scrolls in the old days. Didn’t they post them up in public forums to show wrongdoing. On some door or maybe in this case a Sequoia or something. Unfurl it out a window of the Statue of Liberty, or something. Something should positively be done with this list, and I mean that in every sense of the word Positively!
You’re really something else again, mon vieux…As I once told you, there’s no hope of redemption for you…*g*
Missed it before. Have now gone back & left you a response.
http://firedoglake.com/2007/12…..nt-1158018
I Apollo-gize.
Shouldn’t you be able to buy banner paper for this?
You mean like Martin Luther nailing it up on the door?
It is an admirable scroll.
Did you all here Keith Oberman mention The List on Bill Moyer’s last Friday night!
Hugh’s efforts Will Pay Off.
jeepers, is that single spaced too?
That’s exactly how ET did it! He definitely did a great job!
Establishing the record of crime is probably the most important thing that our cohort can actually do. We are not numerous enough to elect a candidate for President, but we are enough to set the record straight for future generations. Someday this nightmare wlll be over, just as the Russian and the German nightmares finally ended, and there will be people who will want to know what happened and how it happened. It is especially important to get this record out, because too many establishment Democrats are indirectly implicated by their inaction.
punaise, you’re not secretly the person who prepares the crossword puzzles in The Nation, are you?
Hugh rock!
some might favor a Truth & Reconciliation Commission. I favor truth and incarceration.
Congrats Hugh and ET!!!
Yep, or like in Robin Hood! Do you think Olbermann has seen the List already?
Loosehead, thanks for helping publicize Hugh’s work and ET’s making it into a visible condemnation of this administration.
Kudos all around.
Ok I did it on a local level now who wants to call Thom Hartman and get him on the scandal per day Hugh List groupie?
If you have a progressive radio station in your area, call them and direct them to the list.
Will be posting the links on our local DFA website.
Any ideas on how to make this go viral?
I believe he has.
I could be wrong, but when he mentioned that there is a Whole List of Bush Scandals, I immediately thought of Hugh.
I’ve read here that he (or one of his staff) does, read FDL, I mean.
Of course, he has!
Anyone disagree with me?
Well, Nancy for sure should get a copy! Someone should force her to read it. I wonder what it would look like printed out like a manuscript?
That would be KTLK 1150 around here & I emailed them when I saw this post. Sent link to Hugh’s list plus a sample of it. It’d also be perfect for Stephanie Miller and/or Rachel Maddow to get into on air.
So, how else can we get the word out about Hugh’s list and about Bob’s Prime the Pump wiki?
We want EVERYBODY to know. B/C when they do, they will want to take action. We want to convert the low information voter, into a voter who knows about Hugh’s and Bob’s information warehouses
Katymine! My hero (heroine)
Lets have a standing O for Katymine! (LHP applauding madly)
LHP,
Don’t you remember the tractor feed type paper which was perforated and you can separate into individual sheets?
That’s what it is!
You can also buy bond paper for plotters on a roll of 100 yards of varying widths.
You can increase font size to make to Poster Size type and hang it grand central station… or make it an art piece and roll it out on the floor!
I linked to ET’s site a few days ago for new readers to see the Scroll.
Thanks for giving the list the front page recognition it deserves LHP
I am planning on running a few copies and giving them to friends. How about our congessmen like the Rubber Stamps?
Congrats to Hugh, ET, and Bob, a part a vibrant, dynamic community!
I was the one who said he reads FDL. Maybe not everyday, but David Shuster who reports for him does. The latter even told the FDL crew that during the Libby liveblogging. And Keith knows Jane personally. Jane was on Countdown with him last year. I’ve postedthat ideo at FDL twice.
So kewl! I did my first DailyKos diary yesterday, and looseheadprop honors my performance art today! Makes me even more proud than usual to be a pup. And an American liberal.
It wasn’t – isn’t one long piece of paper, it is sheets of regular copy paper, with the top and bottom margins cut off and taped end to end.
I see Hugh hasn’t added the recent torture tape destruction stuff. Should be over 300 with that stuff incorporated.
Still haven’t figured out quite what to do with the dang thing…
Never before has a President and Vice President deserved to be impeached more than these.
Yet our Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, is working behind the scenes with House Democrats, not to build a consensus for impeachment, but to do just the opposite: to keep others from succeeding in their effort to hold this president accountable by means of impeachment.
With the FISA bill still looming in the Senate, and a new war funding bill passed with no structure in place to Bring our Troops Home, we have to show the leaders of the House and Senate that this is still our country.
Please read the petition to replace Pelosi with a Democratic Representative who will bring impeachment proceedings to the floor. A Question of Privilege under House Rules IX can declare the Speaker seat vacant.
It can be done, it must be done. We have waited long enough.
http://www.petitiononline.com/…..ition.html
Frankly, it would be nice if we could find a reasonably priced way to print and manufacture these scrolls. Distribution/ promotion would be a breeze if we had many readily available.
Great post LHP. The pups are an amazing force!
me @ 55:
I’ve posted that video at FDL twice.
Force multiplier: hmmmm, let’s see, what could little ol’ Prairie in Fargo do. Well, there is that local guy who has a radio show. Might be worth contacting his people and steering him toward our people, aka firepups.
Email to Ed Schultz’s “people.” Done.
Now back to read what the rest of you will be doing….
Yay Hugh. *clap, clap* Proves a good hobby is never a waste.
When are we going to get to the bottom of that executive office building fire?
Another question. How reliable is the UK daily news? British children targeted with terror sing-along DVD for would-be suicide bombers. My friend sent this to me and seems to believe the story wholeheartedly. For some reason I am skeptical. But I can’t place my finger on it.
I guess it sounds like a story a wingnut would concoct.
Anyone want to take a crack at it? I could be wrong.
I just got my first look at Priming the Pump. Pretty impressive. I only have two words to add: Torture tapes! First, making them, because I think what was on them was illegal torture. Second, destroying them = destroying evidence against a court order. But it’s really impressive work. Too bad it wasn’t done by those that we pay to do such things!
Digg is finally working. Hitting the “Digg” button and making comments over there is a great way to get people to notice the scroll.
O Mah Gawd
After the christmas rush is over, do we want to have a Saturday “Arts and Crafts” event and each of us makes a scroll and then we divvy up members of Congress to mail them to?
Kinda like the Rubber Stamp thingy? Maybe have a Pull up a Chair arts and crafts thread? For the really craft talented we could photo and display really pretty ones (I’m thinking of, maybe, a little calligraphy or Book of Kells type illumination on mine)
It would be fun
Let’s digg this post, get it out to the rest of the blogosphere!
Great minds, Jim. When you say running out a few copies, do you mean on 8 1/2×11 and taping or do you how to get it to print on a roll?
I’ve emailed Brian Lehrer on wnyc.
How about democracynow?
Biodun!
I’ve said it before, ….
You da man!
(whispering again…eggnog is gooooooood.)
What about getting Hugh and/or ET onto NovaM and Head On Radio as well?
The big Applause is for Hugh’s and ET’s work….
all I did is use my big mouth AND pointed … “Hey lookie over there” and had someone who would listen.
Now it is time for others to step up to the plate.
(LHP clapping some more.)
ET is in da house!
Hugh is an American Hero. ET is as well. Hope he laminated that puppy!
I am too cheap. will run them like ET. I will personally run enough copies to get them to the entire Iowa delegation and cover the cost of distribution. What say Firepups?
Dugged. Congrats Hugh.
You know what gets me about the investigation of major scandals? For Iran-Contra, a Republican scandal, they chose in the interests of fairness, a Republican to serve as special counsel. (Lawrence Walsh, as it happened, exceeded all expectations of fairness and so was smeared mercilessly for his exertions.)
So then comes Whitewater, a Democratic (non)scandal, so this time — again in the interests of fairness — the special counsel was….a Republican. I’m referring, BTW, to Robert Fiske (no relation to the journalist). Fiske, insufficiently vigorous, was then replaced — in the further interest of fairness — by another Republican, Kenneth Starr, who gleefully restored turgidity to a flaccid endeavor, converting the Whitewater investigation into the jism jihad that so deeply offended Joe Lieberman and perhaps two or three others.
I mention all this in a hopeless attempt to stifle my gag response should a special prosecutor prove unavoidable in the torture tape affair. Because in all fairness…well, you know.
If only we exhume and defibrillate Archibald Cox.
Dugged. Congrats Hugh.
fake Hugh says, “None of this would have been possible without the enormous efforts of George W. Bush…”
I wonder if Kinkos or Staples or even Party City (they do banners for parties) might be able to do it? If one were to download the list onto a disc and bring it to them.
After the X-mas rush, I’ll ask around and set up another post, so we can do this in an organized fashion. But the calling of your local radio stations can start at any time.
More exposure is, well, more exposure
That huge Hugh list is probably incomplete. Does it include all executive departments? This latest EPA ruling was a humdinger.
I have a plotter and I can do!
A lot of people that comment here are perfectly capable of doing a diary at Kos and at TPM. Can LHP or Jane or Christy or someone do a post for Huffpo? John Amato could be enlisted to put a picture of the unrolled scroll from Edward Teller’s post? The more, the merrier.
Kinkos can do it too!
Sent an email to Washington Journal, with links & photo.
Ann, as I understand it, though I lack the tech skills to actually DO it; the beauty of the wiki is that YOU can add the torture tapes issue into it yourself. Don’t ask me how though. Bob tried to explain it to me, but I’m hopeless. If I did not have monster amounts of backstage help, from the world’s best editor who never seems to sleep, I would almost never get my posts to work
ET should correct me if I’m wrong but IIRC, this was in 10 point helvetica font and that he tested 12 and 16 point as well getting something like over 80 feet with 12 and over 120 feet with 16 point.
Let’s put links in the comment section of The Gavel on a regular basis.
Hugh did a great job on the list. He compiled the scandals and he explains them as concisely as anyone can (many are tremendous Clusterfucks) and the damn thing is 60 ft long on a scroll! Worth a click to Hugh’s webpage to see the list. It is excellent.
At ET’s site: Hugh added “enough info so even a mainstream media reporter would understand….”
My stomach hurts from laughing.
Does Jane and Markos still own a book publishing company?
Where is HUGH?
Are you lurking, buddy? Come out and take a bow.
And where is our boy Bob?
Hate to tell you this, guys, but Swopa has a new post upstairs, and guess who got the “zed.”
ET should correct me if I’m wrong but IIRC, this was in 10 point helvetica font and that he tested 12 and 16 point as well getting something like over 80 feet with 12 and over 120 feet with 16 point.
Here’s what I calculated at the time – with 276 items:
16-pt – 166 pages – 124 feet – 6 inches
14-pt – 128 pages – 96 feet long
12-pt – 97 pages – 72 feet – 9 inches
10-pt – 69 pages – 51 feet – 9 inches
It ended up about seven feet longer than I had calculated. I’ll add the most recent stuff and come up with a new set in all those point settings.
I’m the aforementioned Phoenix progressive host that katymine referenced.
If any of you have Hugh’s contact info I’d love to have him on air to launch the segment on Jan 2nd.
I’m at http://www.jefffarias.com
thanks all
ok,
lhp “TO DO” LIST FOR JANUARY 2ND
1) check with Kinkos, Staples etc about whether they canprint list on banner paper. Get price quotes
2)check with Selise about best contacts lists to use for this project
3) get a good date for the arts and crafts event
4) put up post on how and where to get list printed and how to do on 8 1/2×11 with lots of scotch tape
5)include suggestions on how to persoanlize with stickers, collage or drawing
6) include date for mass shiping
7) see if we can get some press coverage of the delivery
It would be nice if we could do co-ordinated public scroll role outs on the same day that we expected the scrolls to get to Congress. Since it would be a weekday, that would probably be either an early morning event, so the footage could be on the evening news, or an evening event wiht live coverage
And of course homemade You Tubes
Waving at Jeff….. welcome to the lake the water is just right and so is the company.
(LHP standing up and clapping again)
So, very very glad to have you in the house. And thank you, this idea is really inspired
Take a bow, Hugh.
Terrific work
digg Hugh’s List
Hi Jeff.
Welcome to the lake!
If you click thru to his list, he has contact info right at the top.
And here it is
http://www.netrootsmass.net/contact/page1.php
New calculation, based on the 291 items now on Hugh’s List. Hugh’s Scroll would now be:
16-pt. Helvetica – 164 feet
14-pt – 127 feet
12-pt. – 96′6″
10-pt. – 69 feet
Congressman Robert Wexler is still looking for signatures for his website
http://www.wexlerwantshearings.com.
If you haven’t signed up please do, 110,000 people have already done so.
But to get back on topic the pups should make sure that he is made aware of Hugh’s list, maybe he can also put it on his website??
Also he will be on: Congressman Wexler Live on Blog Radio:
WHEN: Thursday, December 20, 9:00 pm (EST)/6:00 pm (PST)
WHERE: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/fpc (a link will be posted at http://www.wexlerwantshearings.com and http://www.wexlerforcongress.com)
WHO: Rep. Wexler will appear live on Florida Progressive Radio with host Kenneth Quinnell of the Florida Netroots Caucus, Bob Fertick of Democrats.com, as well as Dave Lindorf, author of “The Case for Impeachment,” and David Swanson with AfterDowningStreet.org.
eCAHNomics
thanks for the link
I sent a message to Hugh to invite him on the air
Hugh’s list is 66 pages long.
by my count
I am with you all on this. Thought of the impact after seeing ET’s blogpost. Let’s do it!
wow! big congrats to HUGH and EDWARD TELLER and KATYMINE!!!
jeff – i host Hugh’s list for him, and have forwarded your message to him.
Hugh’s scroll, perfect stocking stuffer.
Of course, the wingnuts in your family may re-gift or throw it on the Yule log along with the Constitution, but hey! it’s the thought of democracy that counts!
please take a careful look and if you see anything you think is missing, send hugh a msg – he reads them all and very frequently will make an addition based on a suggestion. he’s gotten over 100 emails since it was first posted.
Selise,
Read my #94 and when you have time, put on your thinking cap about the best way to organze the Congresscritter contact, pretty please. I know you do alot aready, but maybe squeeze me in?
I’m thinking maybe a prioritized list and folks can “claim” names off the list that they will send the scroll to. I will defer to your greater expertise though.
anything for you LHP, so long as there is no deferring allowed. *g* i don’t have any expertise, i just try not to let ignorance get in my way of figuring out how to do stuff.
.. and you have my email addy now, so if you want to discuss off line, email me.
hmmm… 532 names… hmmm…
May I kibbutz?
Do you also want to deliver Hugh’s list to DOJ or Supreme Court or the White House press room? Just brainstorming outside the Congress box…
How bout sending one to the BBC? ;)
Er, in Hawai’i?
oh absolutely. i think lhp has a project in mind for us…. i’m not sure, but i think my job is just to figure out an easy way for people to self organize.
i’ll keep in mind that while it has to handle 532 congress critters, there may be other add-ons.
I think the Supreme Court should certainly get a copy, since their decision lead to all of this!
Thanks for the replies. Waving hello to ann and selise
I am still in disbelief and shock that none of these scandals has brought down bushco. It’s just so awful. I feel like I’m watching the Third Reich in action. The only difference is that we get real time narration and no opposition from people paid to do just that. I know, preaching to the choir. Thanks for all you guys do.
Terrific list and wiki growing faster than Pinnochio’s nose.
Now if Rule of Law, Rule of Law….I heard of it somewhere…were just restored hmmmmm……
If Rule of Law were restored, and the House and Senate held Miers, Rove, Bolton, in contempt (hey they have!) what would be happening that isn’t hmmmm…..
Senate Judiciary held Rove and Bolton in contempt on December 13.
House Judiciary held Bolton and Miers in contempt on July 25.
And so far zilch over zip has happened. So much for Rule of Law.
I’d look for all the reindeer on the Senate and House floor first.
LHP
I can print “scrolls” on my plotter, it comes with 24″ wide paper x 100 yards.
You can up size the font or print 3 side by side.
This is extremely cool. Excellent job, Hugh. And I love your idea for the Saturday morning arts and crafts LHP. Count me in.
wow! that sounds awesome!
Isn’t this the Bob we’re looking for? I sent him down here, told him they were looking for him downstairs, don’t know why he hasn’t shown.
White House press room? ?
i wonder if you can just mail to there? Siun might know
How about right to the Smithsonian. This is history.
And don’t forget, the glass case next to the Teapot Dome Scandal material in the Courthouse was still empty when I last saw it.
Thanks Ann.
Bob if you’re lurking we have a party hat for you, too.
something to consider is that hugh updates his list almost every day.
I think we have to figure out a good date (one that works for him) and do all the prining at the same time.
Maybe we need a cover letter or preamble to explain to the Congress critter that this list grows daily?
Jeff just mentioned that he is trying to contact Hugh for his Jan 2nd show where he will debut the list!
I was off visiting my 95 year old father so I just got in. Thanks to everyone for all the encouragement and well wishes. It is really gratifying to hear that the list has meant something to you and that you have found it useful. Thanks to LHP and Edward Teller and very special thanks to selise without whose efforts this project would never have found a home.
Hugh!!!!!!
Finally. Huzzahs for you my hero. (clapping madly)
Oh and Mr. Man of the Hour, this post is already #4 in the digg political posts.
Thanks to all the pups who dugg it.
Hugh, do you know one way to the other, if KO has seen your list. He mentioned a list of Bush scandals on the net during the Bill Moyer’s interview and I immediately thought he was talking about you. Is that a confirmed fact?
Oh, and do we have your permission to print out and ship scrolls of your list to Congress critters?
Hugh,
We are going to build on this as you have. Thanks
Hugh – egregious and some media people are looking for you. egregious e-mailed me for your e-mail address, which I don’t think I have. maybe look upstairs for egregious. my e-mail is mungerniklake – at – gmail – dot -com…
Hugh, congratulations!! If you can contact ET that would be great.
I wanna know if Hugh is going to go on the radio?
my fingers are crossed!
Would some AZ firepups want to post youtubes of the maybe the first few days of the list being read onthe radio? ANd if Hugh gets interviewed, that too?
Pretty please?
jeff has a link to the live online stream… so it looks like we can all listen in.
but, hugh hasn’t said he’s going to do it yet. so maybe we’re jumping the gun a bit?
First I thought it was on radio, no video. Second, I would have no idea how to do it or if I even have the equipment to do it. Otherwise, I’d be happy to.
The list is there to be used with my best wishes.
As far as the scroll goes, the idea was probably mine first. All I ask is that Hugh and I – Philip Munger, not “ET” or “Edward Teller” – be given credit for our parts in this. I suppose you’ll need to give W credit too.
Can you please post the entire list….
Or can you tell me where I can find it, so that I can post it…so that people can read it, so just perhaps everyone might wake up to whats really going on.
thanks,
_g

Link to Hugh’s List is in the 2nd line of LHP’s introduction:
“Hugh’s Scroll
Pups, I don’t think it is any secret that I, like so many here, am a huge fan of both Hugh’s List and Bob in Hawaii’s”
Click on Hugh’s List
P.S. If you lose that link
I always google “Hugh’s list”, it’s alway in the top 3 results.
Heya Pups,
Had some trouble getting logged in earlier so if this is old news please forgive me.
When I see that scroll the thing that pops into my mind is holiday carolers. Perhaps we could get a group of people in festive garb with scrolls on the steps of the Capitol building singing the “praises” of this administration? They did it with Rummy’s “poetry”, hey, why not with the Scroll of Shame?
Great idea. Glad to see you made it.
Hugh’s list is hugh, in the slang sense as well as the physical sense.
How about sending a copy rolled up like a diploma sent to every member of the SJC for as a holiday gift?
Or, the many FDL BayBlueStaters could bear it unfurled to the local offices of the New England Senators or along the length of the Freedom Trail in Boston which wends it way past American Revolutionary shrines…
However.
It may be the midnight hour or the end of the day or the prospect of digging the car out again in the SnowyWhiteBlueState, but I don’t get the logic of the order of the presentation. It is seemingly not in order of date or importance, as Reed (Walter) precedes Rove (unindicted felon), or federal department, or nefariousness. If a loyal pup is not getting it, imagine the difficulty attention deficient MSM member might have. So help me here.
At the beginning or end of the Hugh’s List you should include two quotes from Nancy Pelosi: one where she says impeachment is off the table and the other more recent statement that she doesn’t know of any impeachable offenses. It would make a more complete statement about the times in which we are living.
There’s only one year left, but there’s still hope. Thanx Hugh!!!
