Shame on america. This is what happens when we let democracy slip into facism. How can we let this president form SS type mercs under the name of freedom and democracy and expect to keep our freedoms? History should have taught us that once we let private armys to be formed under our name we have lost our democracy and our freedoms. The people had better wakeup and fast or america the land of the free will be a thing of the past.

What the hell are we doing over there in Iraq?! My God! We’re conditioning men to love only violent hate (against women/girls and Iraqis) and greed. Mind you, these deranged men will eventually return to the United States. An entire crop of newly branded psychopaths will be amongst us, targeting our loved ones for brutal torture. What this woman has endured just kills me.

I hang my head in shame as an American. Profoundly so.

She may have made them, but at this point, with regard to her, I’m from Mizzou, big time.

What we need are press conference with powerful democrats, particularly, powerful women democrats, standing beside Jamie Jones and the other women starting to come forward, and raising holy hell about State participating in a cover-up of Dick Cheyney’s old company which is paying him $175 thou in residuals, every year.

Change two things in this: the names of “bush and Cheyney”, to “Clinton and Gore”, and we could hear conservative carotid arteries exploding three blocks away.

Actually, I’m pretty sure Hillary’s mentioned this matter repeatedly. I think she’s written Condi repeatedly demanding that State explain their apparently conspiracy with Halliburton.

dunno.. maybe they’ll be comforted to know that shrubco really is as ready to wreak atrocities on its own people as it is on the citizens of the countries we’re tryin’ to conquer. btw, question: since Halliburton is no doubt invoking the fog of war/legal black hole line of argument to justify its actions here, can somebody be prosecuted for war crimes if the crime was committed during and part of military action (the US occupation of Iraq) when the victim is on the same side as the aggressor? There must be some precedent for this from WWI… I remember reading some history text that made reference to efforts to get cannon fodder tactics classified as war crimes, even if the soldiers murdered were members of the same side as the people giving the orders.

somebody needs to introduce legislation immediately barring Halliburton from federal contracts. A company that conspires with corrupt DOD officials to destroy evidence and suppress testimony after locking a seriously wounded employee in a shipping container without food, water or medical attention should not be allowed to take our tax dollars. Period. This isn’t a partisan issue, or shouldn’t be… unless shrubco is sayin’ that Halliburton is now a branch of the Unitary Executive.
