The question you have to ask yourself is:
Do you feel safer than you did 8 years ago?

Do ya feel safer? Well, do ya punk?

Seriously, it’s a great question. After all, reports say Al Qaeda is much larger now than it was 8 years ago. Heckuva job Dubya.

I suppose Bush is holding them at bay until a Dem becomes president. That way he can say, “I told ya so.” Leave it to a Bush to put his personal pride over national security.

Go away George. Just go away.

My gorge rises every time I hear someone claim that someone else *owes* someone else an apology. The authoritarian implications of it are nauseating.

Sen. Joseph Lieberman (Conn.), who was on the national Democratic ticket in 2000, will cross the aisle to endorse Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) tomorrow, Republican sources said.

The two will appear together on Fox News on Monday, then at an 8 a.m. town hall meeting in Hillsborough, N.H. They will talk with reporters after the meeting. McCain is also scheduled to appear on NBC’s “Today” program.

Wait! That means they may not be around to vote to end the filibuster! Or to support the FISA Bill!

What will we do to make it clear that there are real American people out there and we are angry.

Today is the day where we progressives will find out whether we have a party or a group of Senators who fail to take their oath to the Constitution as sacred.
I personnally plan to filibuster Harry Reid and the rest of them and will not quit until hell freezes over. (altho its only 9 degrees in beautiful NE Iowa)

If I am not mistaken Huckleberry has placed a hold on the torture bill as well, another example of Harry Reid’s behavior.

when I first read that I thought you were talking about Huckabee but you mean Lindsay Graham. Isn’t the identity of the Senator who puts the hold on a bill secret? Or has that been changed?
