He’s not gay — he’s obviously miserable and conflicted. He doesn’t live “the gay lifestyle”…he lives the closeted and sordid lifestyle! And he’s had sex with women! Well, once or twice. But he wants to have sex with women.

But, but but Larry Craig says he isn’t gay! How can a United States Senator lie to us like that!?!

How do you know he’s had sex with women? His children are adopted. They’re his wife’s biological children from her first marriage. And BTW, she worked fro him before they married, so she probably knew exactly what she was bargaining for. Also, BTW, I wonder what the kids’ biological father is thinking about all of this.

I get the feeling that no matter how many the revelations and how dramatic or sordid they are, Craig will stick to his “I am not gay” mantra and serve out the remainder of his term.

FWIW, my comment goes to one’s attention or focus.

It’s easy to focus on Larry Craig.

I think, FWIW, that one should maintain focus on the leading candidates for the presidency. They are far more important than Larry Craig.

There’s always a lot of focus on the “leading candidates” for president and other offices.

But we need the comic relief as well.

Craig’s wiki says that he was mentioned as a possible Interior Secy after Gale Norton.

Speaking of the leading candidates for president…which of them was it who had appointed Craig to a position in his campaign? Was it Mittens? He seems to have successfully distanced himself from this mess. Maybe every Larry Craig story in the blogosphere ought to mention which candidate that was, lest we forget.

What a sweet thing to say to a guy with whom you just bumped uglies, and the $20 bucks, that kinda an insult, right? I mean, you don’t pay someone you just hooked up with. I’m not familiar with the gay pickup scene but i’m just sayin… Am I right. Now let’s do the math

One Thousand times $20 = $20,000. That not a lot of cash, even in 1986. It was a threat, Craig was saying: Keep you mouth just! (…unless of course, Craig runs into you again and wants another blow job.) … not that there’s anything wrong with it.

I’m just commenting to keep my hand in… personally, the Larry Craig story, which has been rehashed and retold, is beginning to bore me. The guy is done, stick a fork in him (Ann Richard’s favorite saying)

OT: the destroyed tapes and the ensuing investigations. Dare we hope for impeachment? Because Pelosi was informed about torture techniques, maybe she can now be persuaded to put I on the table.

Anything that exposes the hypocrites like Craig should be supported and promoted. I don’t care about the details, however there is now a in-depth recorded interview on the record. It illustrates the extent that all this new media can be used to document the nature of these right wing hypocrites.

What kind of credibility does someone who claims to have had sex with Sen Craig have?

What is he selling this story for? Some kind of Salacious Notoriety?

I had figured Pelosi said, “no impeachment” because she wanted to help Dems win Congress in ‘06. But, if it was a defensive move (in light of an impending Dem Congress) meant to protect her and some others who were in the know about torture, then we’ve got a very serious problem.

We definitely need better Dems!
