netflix is just another distribution outlet for entertainment.

whether you watch a tv show the night it is first aired on the big networks, or wait 6 months down the road and watch it at your leisure on netflix, the writers (as well as actors and below the line employees) getting whatever money they get thru the contract negotiated w/the amptp.

if the amptp refuses to negotiate w/the writers, it not only hurts tv viewing in the very short run (look for reruns next month, folks) but it will hurt netflix viewers (and film goers) in about a year.

meanwhile, skippy walks the wga picket line on star trek day (w/pix of celebs!)

I do not like any Wolfson’s tactics against any Democrat. Whatever people think of Obama, Wolfson is not a Democrat. Norske, I usually do like your articulate verbal artillery.

Perhaps you are thinking of Howard Wolfson, cmpaign manager for Hillary. He is paid by Verizon to help Sen. Toobz Stephen to oppose net neutrality. He also bashes Obama every chance he gets. I wish we could send him back to the neo-con lobbying firm Glover Park on K-Street.
