I always like to hear from you, Loo Hoo.

It’s been two years. He has three to go for it to be legal. Silly me had the landscapers remove all the newly planted trees because they put them two feet into my neighbor’s property. Since the LC had trouble sight-lining between property markers, I drew a red line. Probably my neighbor would have said nothing but it bothered me.

Will I do anything about my encroaching neighbor, no. As long as he maintains the property, I’m satisfied. It is one way to increase the value of your property, annex. In all fairness to my neighbor, he didn’t use weapons and threaten the rest of us. He didn’t annex the way Kissinger and Soeharto annexed Timor, with war ships carrying US munitions.

QG, if your neighbor kepps the hot tub/landscape zone for 5 years, it becomes his. At least that’s so in California.

My neighbor encroached on common property and “annexed” a large portion where he placed his hot tub, landscaping and just-for-show vineyard. Neighbors grumble but the HOA has done nothing. Hummm. My next door neighbor has a lovely Zen garden. Think I’ll annex a portion of it for my own use. I think I have a right to it – takers keepers.

I just read an old article in Salon about Michael Weiner (his real name) and it’s one of the saddest things you’ll ever read.

Mocked by his dad, rejected by his liberal friends, scorned by every university he applied to (for teaching positions) and racked by homosexual desires, Savage turned himself into this racist, xenophobic and homophobic monstrosity.

I have no idea who the fix is among Republican candidates or if he is being kept in hiding until the final moments of “and the winner of the GOP nomination is….” On the other hand I have a pretty good idea who the fix is on the Democratic side. I’ll wager HRC. Come hell or high water, come low votes of confidence, and the winner is…..

I wish we could get back to being a democracy but that is up to us to take back. People in power will throw out a token or two but forget about them upholding their oath of office to uphold the Constitution. It’s the only thing they have to do and they just can’t. Guess it’s up to The People again as it’s been throughout history. A democracy is active force by The People. We keep the elected (even if they steal the votes) in line. Just a few of us “do” democracy.
