Yes, Musharraf is making himself president for life, but, in a masterful stroke of international statesmanship, Bush has managed to get him to change his clothes first.

It’s time we stopped blaming Bush for all the mess and start blaming Republicans in general. They’ve been blocking up Congress. They let Bush have his way. They were the most corrupt Congress in the last 100 years.

except that now the dems are in (nominal) control of congress… so, any responsibility that falls on congress, now falls partially on dems too.

That’s true, except for a. it was the six years of Bush and the Repugs that got us into these messes and b. the Repugs are blocking everything in Congress and Bush is vetoing what’s left. We have to put blame where blame is due. The Repugs are trying to blame the Democrats (and immigrants) for everything from losing the war in Iraq to the impending credit crisis. Democrats better get out in front of that.

Ditto from somewhere else in the BayBlueState. Careful, though, FDL snark has a well documented tendency to propel the coffee from mouth to screen on the way to ROFL. Bad for screen, bad for relations with significant others who fast asleep, I’ve learned.

At least we know where Rove has been since exiting the WH bunker. First he went to Myanmar to assist the ruling junta, then on to Pakistan for the Musharif shenanigans and now he is in Russia helping to rig the elections there. A busy man is kkkkarl.
