Yeah, but before he attacked Clinton I’m certain he consulted with Newt Gingrich.

The media will probably award a win to Mike Huckabee, the easy listening music candidate at home in any crowd, fluent in simpleton speak and the one man on the stage tonight who led the audience to roaring cheers by boasting that he had a special qualification to be president that none of the second-raters on the stage could match: A degree in Bible Studies from Ouachita Baptist University of Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

huckabee had the nerve to say god wrote things in the bible he didn’t want you to understand

something like “if you can understand what god wrote you have a small god”

kind of retarded but that actually recieved applause

So, he was saying what, that God has a wicked sense of humor? That God would intentionally provide people with a book they couldn’t understand?

Downright weird.

Actually, I think they might have a point. This is not the first time that Republicans have behaved badly and horrified us about what violent bigots they are. I’m guessing that most Republicans don’t see themselves in this way because their media is all about being emotional in the moment.
But with last two debates, CNN has managed to make all of the Democratic candidates look like people of substance, even if they occsionally duke it out, while the Republicans look like bigoted assholes. It’s like a mirror held up for the rest of us to see us as we really are. And I guess they didn’t like it much.
Can’t say I blame them but why did it take so long for them to figure out that they are an embarrassment to the rest of us?

I know someone probably already mentioned this somewhere, but did anyone notice they mispronounced Tom Tancredo’s name when he was introduced? Nice. Also, all the old white men standing in a line was a nice scary image that’s now burned into my brain.

This was a classic CNN con job.
They chose the questions so once again we get the liberal’s perspective of conservatism.

You know if CNN is actually Liberal shouldn’t a confirmed Liberal like myself actually be able to watch it? Now if these wingnut dimwits would just say that CNN(Conservative News Network) were more Liberal than Faux News then I suppose I could say yeah you’re probably right. Faux is blocked on my tv but CNN (even though I rarely stop there more than 30 seconds) isn’t. So there you go.

I ran across this piece in the NYTIMES. Very interesting piece put together by young republicans from Harvard who watched the debate live and logged their thoughts. Probably the most insightful information I have seen yet about the GOP debates. These kids actually liked the You-Tube questions. FYI: LINK
