Just a reminder that the FDL Book Salon will be featuring John Anderson, former deputy editor of The American Laywer, and author of “Follow the Money:  How George W. Bush And The Texas Republicans Hog-Tied America” at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT today.

As I said then, this promises to be a lively and informative discussion.  John is a native Texan, and his insights on the backroom deals, long-time smarm merchantry and outright thievery would not be believeable piled together in a work of fiction.  That they are based on factual information and real world actions taken by people who pass themselves off as leading political figures in this nation of ours is bad enough.

That they were able to do so without nearly enough sunshine being spotlighted on their actions is worse.  Today, we try to rectify this sunshine deficiency just a bit.  Hope you will join us at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT…
