Aloha, Donita and Fini!
Hello Donita, hello firepups.
It has been around for a while. Darn, I spend too much time online. Anyway, thanks for posting.
On another topic: Did the movie you went to last Friday get a good reception?
greetings, o fairest one of all. i have joyous news. today is my birthday, and there is no one i’d rather spend this day with than my favorite entertainer and favorite lady. any chance i can coax a special greeting from you?
also, how did you resolve your hair dilemma?

Savannah @ 10
That’s Sav everyone, like she said, my best bud :)
The only thing more disturbing than that video was imagining how much footage of a chimp and his poodle the creators had to watch to get their seditious snippets for editing purposes.
;>)
DonitaFinito!
hi, savannah! welcome!
Hi fini, Donita!
Hi Savannah.
Greetings Firepups! Anyone have some good YouTubes?

Click the Digg It tab up there by the title to recommend it to Digg. It helps promote the story to other Digg users and drives more traffic to the site. If you dont have a Digg account already it takes a minute to sign up and then you can dig other FDL stories in the future.
Then there’s this http://www.americablog.com/200…..er_16.html

Hello finifinito!
It’s actually “Willkommen” with two “l”. Sorry, I just had to affirm the reputation of us Germans being nitpickers. ;-)
Norman Wagner @ 21
Willkommen! Danke schoen!

I wish “The Spin” was more Diggable this week for this new gizmo. I’ll try and crack the “downloading and the music industry” for next week, eh? That’s a no brainer right?
Hi, Donita!
This video is very funny! My brother was watching this video there are some months ago and he showed me… I laughed so much of this! Bush and Blair seems husband and wife! lol!
I found some good videos to show you! That video is of a teacher dressed of woman, in an event of leisure of the school! That was very funny! Take a look and laugh enough! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0rEkU3uM5s

Hello Donita! :)
Norman Wagner @ 5
The movie was recieved quite well. I hadn’t seen it in a long time and I really enjoyed it, again.
thanks, i have another LIFE OF REILLY queestion that slipped my mind last week. a while back dee plakas co-scored a movie starring paul (pee-wee herman) reubens. did you ask her for any tips or did she offer you any?
btw, my new moniker reflects how i feel after our little photo debacle. i know you said we’re okay but istill feel bad. put it down to having a soul, a conscience and a massive bleeding heart.
darkblack @ 27
That Italian Spiderman was…it was…it…was…well it just was wasn’t it?
OTOH you unearthed a couple of gems from my misspent youth! That triple threat from ZZ Top and the Suzi Quatro was extra bonus point worthy! 1000 atta boys to Darkblack!

I thought of you when I saw it, my brother… Why is an unexplained mystery
;>)
I’m very disturbed by that Italian Spiderman. Its so much better than Dschinghis Khan’s Moskau video for the sheer weirdness. My favorite parts are when they zoom in on his fake moustache. I may have nightmares tonight.

darkblack @ 42
OH MY GOD! YOU WENT NUCLEAR! MY EYES! FLASH FLASH! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
finifinito @ 43
I didn’t wish to resort to such…But you forced my hand with Dschinghis Khan.

finifinito @ 42
Oh, cool…It’s the Nice arrangement. Burn a flag, y’all.
;>)
darkblack @ 42
OMFG!
That is cruel and, MOST unusual.
BTW, I have seen that before, somewhere, somebody else wished to punish the masses.
After seeing the Tommy Seebach Band, Boney M, and Dschinghis Khan, I have to ask, what the hell was going on in disco era Germany?
Hey Donita, I’m really enjoying the playlist. Only trouble, Jess keeps trying to turn down the volume on my computer so she can listen to her own tunes on hers. KIDS!!!!!!:/
hi donita!
LOVED the playlist! haven’t heard “summer wine” in awhile…..what a great song!
it is rather difficult to watch those two creeps without a bucket nearby…..but, i managed!

See thats how that friggin Apache video by Tommy Seebach got loose into the wild in the first place. Atrios nuked Gavin with that during one nasty YouTube War back in the summer.
finifinito @ 55
That was fantastic.
finifinito @ 67
I feel privileged to have been here for that one. Epic.
DB, I had to look twice to see if this was your handiwork… ;-)

newtonusr @ 69
I stumbled in on that one just before the nuclear exchange by Atrios. I was as shocked as everyone. Soon after I found the Dschinghis Khan video. That Swedish couple I found was discovered later and tonight was the first time I used it in a YouTube War. I had no idea about the bad hair metal bands though. I know I will suffer from nightmares tonight now…I’ve seen too much.
darkblack @ 59

Donita,
IMO, the best recorded music is on vinyl, mainly from 1948 – 1963. FWIW
OT:
http://news.independent.co.uk/…..166414.ece
“But it is the enormous carbon footprint of Southern Company – among the largest financiers of Republican Party politicians – which has raised eyebrows. Southern’s employees handed George Bush $217,047 to help him get elected twice, and they and the company have contributed an extraordinary $6.2m to Republican campaigns since 1990 according to the Centre for Responsive Politics.
A single Southern Company plant in Juliette, Georgia already emits more carbon dioxide annually that Brazil’s entire power sector. The company is in the top two of America’s dirtiest utility polluters and sixth worst in the world.
Apart from vague promises by the Democratic presidential hopefuls, there is no pressure on this or any other power company to clean up their act and cut back on CO2 emissions.
Politicians from both parties fear the influence of Southern, which spends huge sums both on lobbying and on political campaigns and is among the biggest power players in Washington. It has seen off numerous attempts to impose controls on the amounts of pollution it pumps out.”
One more: Here is what the Russians think is going on over here…..

Jane has a new thread upstairs.
The Great Master Franco Luambo Makiadi and his All Powerful OK Jazz, the most dominant dance orchestra on the African Continent between the 1960s-early 90s when Franco passed away. He wrote thousands of songs, has untold (in the hundreds) recordings. The musicians who passed through his bands make up a who’s who of great Congolese musical artists. The videos don’t show off Franco’s guitar mastery which earned him the title of Great Master and epithet, the Sorceror, but does show off his raft of singers of that era.
