Robertson is the personification of the hypocrisy of the UUUUberchristofacisttalibangelical religious nut cases. What, let your own loudly and very publicly proclaimed moral values get in the way of turning a profit by backing a winner instead of a candidate who espouses your supposed values? NO PROBLEMATO! These people have NO SOULS. They are meat puppets fit only to be made into soylent green. And the fact that 1 in 4 homeless folks are veterans…days before veterans day? BWAHAHAHAHA! You just can’t make this stuff up! Yeah, let’s pass a resolution condemning MoveOn.Org for it’s General betrayus add and SCREW funding the VA. BWAHAHAHAHA! Stop, stop, yer killin me! I don’t see Robertson as stupid, he’s actually acting very consistently. Robertson’s #1 reason for endorsing Guiliani is not for protection from terrorists, its because he really truly believes that Guiliani is the most likely candidate to kick off Armegddon. This is the first thing and the last thing his and his followers think about when they get in and out of bed each day.

Until we some repubs on our side on that, it’s just not going to happen. And to get them, we’re going to have to get closer to the election, and we’re going to have to have a candidate who hasn’t been a war supporter, or at least, one that knows and STATES, how wrong they were.

We’re going to have to nominate someone who can and will, WELD the Iraq can of worms to bush, and the GOP’s asses. If we don’t do that, there isn’t going to be an impeachment move, and there won’t be a democrat in the white house, either.

The repubs are hanging tough now, but wait about 3 or 4 months. The pressure on them over the clusterfuck will be getting unbearable. If we pick someone who can hammer them on that, then, politically speaking, they will hand us george bush on a platter, and help us eat him. :o)

You make a good point. I just got home from work so you might not read this comment. I just think that at some point this has to be a priority. If we allow this administration to skate we are not doing our job, they must not be given a free pass. I don’t know how to accomplish it but it sure seems that when a democrat got into a sexual peccadillo (clinton) they were all over it. When a president is responsible for the deaths of who knows how many and add to that the spying, the corruption of the Justice Dept., the treason committed in outing Valerie Plame, Katrina, and on and on..yet nothing happens? It leaves me so goddamn angry and frustrated I can’t think straight sometimes. So I will just keep calling and writing even though it feels like I am pissing in the wind. I talked to one of John Conyer’s aids in Trenton, Michigan this morning and she said she would have more info on the impeachment process next week. He has waited a very long time to become chairman of the congressional judiciary committee and now he is between a rock and a hard place because the dems are not united on this. Ass clowns like Rahm Emmanuel would be better served as repugs because they certainly don’t represent the party that was wedded to labor and working people for most of its history. Sorry to be so long winded, I have so much to say and it takes me awhile to get it right on paper.

Don’t forget that Pat Robertson has had longstanding relationships with dictators like Taylor and Mobuto, and has set up businesses in Liberia, the Dem. Republic of the Congo, and the Caymans.

He has built an empire and is fabulously wealthy and has a large following.
