Here’s what I think about Rudy and Kerik. Rudy didn’t choose him despite his criminality. He chose him because of it. He would have had him by the balls. Same goes for Bush choosing him for (whatever it was). The press kept saying ‘not vetted’. Bull. They knew. But who better to have as an underling then someone who couldn’t go against you. They all do it. Especially FoxNews. They hire all these un-employable people like Ollie North and Geraldo. You think those guys don’t know how lucky they are to have the jobs they have. Instant loyalty and obedience.

Agreed. It was Director of Homeland Security - doesn’t get more in-your-face than that.
