Courageous actions like that of Senator Dodd could bring some people back into the big tent again, if he somehow becomes the nominee, even for VP.

of course we know not to bother with Edwards, Clinton, and Obama, they would never actually do a leaderly thing like putting a hold on a bill that further eviscerates our rights under the law.

i listened to the dodd special on aa. he sounded like a solid person until joementums name came up. it was really tough to keep listening after he talked so highly of his good friend traitor joe. all those guys in the good old boys club helped take out ned, it was disgusting. i’m pretty certain he’s just another straw man.

Dodd’s not horrible, but when the story came out about Edwards campaign financiers it would naturally follow Edwards support might increase. But, suddenly there’s this Dodd Attack drawing all the attention. Straw man burning?

This really is a media issue. He has had the strongest position on the issues that we care about–Iraq and the Constitution–all along. But it’s really hard to get that message out when the media is so focused on 1) the horse race and 2) making it a Clinton/Obama horse race.

Real smart that he stayed on the Michigan ballot. That was one instance where being under the radar helped him.
