OT–
I must be taking FDL for granted and assuming that they’ll live bog everything, so imagine my disappointment this morning that there are no top posts about the Mukasey hearing at all! So what’s a poor late-arriving Firepup at work to do? I can’t scan the comments in half a dozen top posts on other topics to find the pearls, because I don’t have time. Can someone please help point me to some good commentary on the hearings so far? I also hear that these hearings might go on for as many as 3 days!

Cool, my birthday is in 28 days and I have very expensive taste and always expect gifts of my choosing. Since I’m the elder, I set the rules. That’s how that works. I don’t like phones so I only use them in an emergency. So, phone calls won’t happen. But my two oldest granddaughters would love to have you join us. We’re vegetarian and like political movies. Where I go they often come along. Would that fit within your rules?

Boy, are they missing out on a lot. That’s what I call cutting off your nose to spite your face. Grandchildren are truly a beautiful blessing. Can I be your surrogate grandmama? I’d consider it a privilege.

Probably, I am not good friends with them. Better than it used to be, but they don’t like my dad anymore and they’re mad he married my mom and me and my brother remind them of my parents so they’re only even nice to us when they have to. (Since we came to live here. Before that they did not even talk to us at all.)
