The story behind that song was that the band did a lot of weddings and they’d just change the family name each time they sang it. Then when they made the recording it was ‘Brown’. I’ll bet they did that song a zillion times before they even recorded it.

last nite, we had a little messiness left at the lake when cassie made her sudden departure. tonight, i got the following email from her:

Dear Suzanne,

I am very sorry I left things messy at the lake last night but I did not want to be late getting to bed. :-[ I should have been more careful with watching the clock.

This morning, I woke up early and went back to the lake to clean up after the whole late night crowd and not just after myself. I swept the deck and washed the railings and threw out the candy wrappers and recycled the coke cans. I also carried all the wet towels up to the club house and started the wash.

If I promise to get to the diving board more than 20 minutes before bedtime, and I promise to not run any more, can I please use the diving board again?
