Yep…imagine all those undocumented child terrorists and drug cartel operatives signing up for their benefits…thus exposing these “Kiddy Killers” to exposure.

Nothing like raising the spectre of Kiddy Bin Ladens! Drugs! Terrorists! Gangs!

But maybe Bush was talking about the fact that the parents of these kids might be drug pushers, or (gasp) terrorists. Do undocumented terrorists and drug mules bring their kids along on their suicide missions? Do they act like great parents and sign the kids up for health benefits? How precisely does offering these kids healthcare help the nefarious plans of their parents?

Seems it might prevent some kid from showing up as a patient in an emergency room, or harboring a contagious disease that might be stopped from becoming a pandemic if treated early. Keeping the disease to spreading to other children?

And what if these kids are born in the US? Do we wait until their conditions make them chronically infirm…and incapable of becoming a “hardworking American”? If they can’t work or gain an education because of poor medical care when young doesn’t that increase the liklihood that THEY will follow a path of crime.

These Republicans are so blinded by their 19th century “social Darwinism” that they can’t see that a healthy society is beneficial for all it’s members…and a lot cheaper when one allows for early, preventative medicine!

I think you’re giving Gooper Senators and critters waaaay too much credit. They’ve tied themselves to the creeps down the hill and they have to prop up their odious agenda, regardless of whether they like it or not.
