IMVHO, the pattern is not Israel, or Palestine, or Iranian nuclear programs, or sports updates.

It is the repetitious raising of these, and other, topics when the subject of the post is something completely different…with no effort made to engage in conversation with other commenters about the subject of the post.

Our front pagers invest a great deal of time and energy crafting what they present on the front page. The least we can do is acknowledge their efforts before heading down whatever road the muse moves us.
