I can’t imagine anyone being able to honestly say they can’t remember whether they had a gun with them. I mean, a GUN isn’t like s shoe or a sandwich or something…it’s GUN.

If he can’t remember a GUN, then he isn’t fit to be in Congress, though he is probably just perfect to be a Republican.

He meant to say he couldn’t remember the last time he pulled ON his gun.

No, they shouldn’t, but it really appears that the Dems are just as eager to cover-up as the Rethugs, perhaps because they know they should have done more to stop what went on. It’s clear we can’t depend on them for anything, even when they are in the majority. I’ve never been so discouraged.

BTW, did anybody hear that our glorious champions in the Senate agreed today to bury the issue of what was in Bush’s daily briefings prior to the Iraq War, in order to pass the intelligence bill that gives Bush everything he wants? The Rethug argument was, “A commission already looked at that.” Gee, the Memory Hole must be getting pretty full by now. We need a third party or a revolution, this is never going to get any better.
