Cities and towns along the U.S. Gulf Coast are closing impromptu trailer parks housing nearly 65,000 families left homeless after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

This defies ANY attempt at ‘moving forward’ . . . god help them all, each and every victim.

I’m so ashamed of our country’s leadership. This is obscene.

Heh, when the boys were young . . .

I was completely blown away as a young teenager of 13 (’65) when I first discovered the first four Stones Albums.

All that GREAT R&B stuff . . . they just NAILED it . . . now and then, I go UTubin just to see them old clips, and to remind myself just how MF’ing Sweet Tea Good they were . . . . (kerplunk).

Um, is anyone gonna empty the quarter jar, it’s kinda full . . . *G*

President Bush criticized Democrats today for wanting to put more power in the hands of government! Who knew?

Of course, he was talking about SCHIP, not the war in Iraq, or giving government agents the right to ignore FISA, or granting amnesty to members of the government and their buddies in business who violate the Constitutional protections to privacy, etc. etc.

Can anyone explain why American troops are not there, smashing the military government? These people are literally dying for democracy. And our troops are where? For the love of whatever, we should be helping the people who want our help.

Ok- 10pm Phoenix news
U-Haul center not far from my house….. rental truck came back & called the sheriff about what was in the back of the truck. Very suspicious and might be terrorist related. No bombs, explosives BUT just papers.

THE FBI says it is NOT related to terrorists….Is not even investigating it…. sure sounds like a Sheriff Joe publicity stunt.

Woman trapped in CT scanner for 5 hours. She escaped the machine and called her son on her cell phone then 911. Oh this was in Tucson.
