and this one just seems silly.

For voters, ‘tough’ now trumps ‘nice’
from Christian Science Monitor | Top Stories

The front-runners for each party’s nomination are also perceived by voters as the ‘toughest’ in their lineups.

Good to know they now recognize Edwards as the Dem front-runner. Polling has shown for a long time now that he’s the only Dem who can beat any of the Repub candidate and has consistently done so over many months now.

To Republicans who wanted the soft Hillary to face…Tough!

41 votes in the Senate can block anything with a fillibuster. But the least populated states representing 11% of the population are represented by enough Senators to block cloture.

Let me guess, most of those states are represented by Republican senators.

So any Lawyers here today maybe somebody can explain to me why Carlos Arredondo’s attackers the Gathering of Eagles guys who beat him up were not arrested? Didn’t the police stop the beating? Then they know who did it. So do rightwingers get a pass or what?
They can’t all claim that they were so moved to attack one defensless guy. I get into a fight its me I don’t ask my friends for help of course I don’t beat up people for disagreeing with me. This was a mob attack designed to scare us.

Ted Stevens’ $84 million ‘ferry to nowhere.’

“Following on the heels of Senator Ted Stevens’ failed ‘Bridge to Nowhere’ project is an $84 million ferry to allow 40 people to save a 2-hour plus drive.” The USA Today writes that Stevens is pushing for a high-speed ferry that will connect Anchorage to Port MacKenzie, following “the same route as one of the two ‘bridges to nowhere.’”

Child dies of toothache because he did not have healthcare. Now Bush talks about being a Compassionate Conservative and Jesus being his favorite Philosoher.
Now doesn’t Jesus say something about the last shall be first and the first shall be last? Maybe Bush and Congress could set an example for the rest of the country and deny themselves dental care until the rest of the nation has a check up.
I know SOCIALIZED MEDICINE! But tell me just what did George think Jesus meant when he said a Rich man has as much chance of getting into heaven as a Camel has of going through the eye of a needle?
Tell me how can we be both a Christian Nation and a Capitalist one? After all a man cannot serve two masters God and money.
Jesus says sell all that you have and give it to the poor and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come follow me.
Many will come in my name saying I am Jesus and mislead the people.
Bush is a misleader. Now then what did Elijah do to all the false prophets of Baal when they couldn’t light the fire?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7018057.stm
