On Tuesday Sept 11th, suddenly had blood & clots in my urine, even could not pee so went to the ER.

Saw a Urologist and they ordered a CT scan of my abdomen. Symptoms - blood in urine, low back pain, weight loss [ya I wish].

Yea, that would get most people’s attention. Looks like you were lucky and it hasn’t metastasized. Prayers and all that..

The Court of Kangaroo Appeals (sorry, I refuse to call it by its official name, and I apologize profusely to any kangaroo that I have offended by this reference) has, as expected, vacated and remanded the decision of the military commissioner in Gitmo that he lacked jurisdiction to determine whether someone brought before him was an unalwful enemy combatant. But my initial take, based only on the NYT story, is that it’s not as bad as it could have been. I’m sure that Marty Lederman and Scott Horton will be heard from shortly.
