Recently former EPA head Christine Todd Whitman admitted she left the EPA not to spend more time with her family, but because she could not support the Clean Skies Act of 2003 which actually allowed more pollution. Would fixing this be a priority?

Improving the common wealth of all Americans would naturally include clean skies, clean water, safe toys, safer bridges and the like. At least I think that would be a priority for an Edwards administration. Who knows what Republicans might have in store for us.

Senator Webb said that the top 1% has gone from 8% to 16% of national income or assets (not sure which) there has just been a tremendous transfer of wealth to the top 1% of the US, and Republicans never mention this as a problem.

But, it’s not just that some people are getting rich. It’s that the way they soak up the wealth and leave everyone else stuck and facing increasing costs for health care, college education and some other things means America is coming unglued.

Fix the problem so we can all share in the wealth of the country and then it would be great if everyone could get very rich.

You can’t focus on the War in Iraq in the general election if Bush pulls us out about time for the RNC convention.

You need to draw up a list of things Dent has voted on which supported Bush and were obviously bad for American and your district.

What are the issues most important to voters in YOUR district?

What is your position on those?

It’s important to listen to the voters and respond to things directly relevant to them. Do they have kids? How are the schools? Can they afford college? Do they have health care for the kids (SCHIP)? Are the bridges safe? Are they unionized? Do they have a good minimum wage?

Connect to individuals, not some faceless nameless ‘voter’.
