What’s our options? Cheney? Hell, he’s been bending the shrub over since 2000… When will we get it right?

Since most Americans barely have the intelligence of a lemur and the attention span of a gnat by Nov. of 2008 they will be on board the Republican Values Express. Next stop, oblivion.

Hard to interpret isn’t it? Now if Quaker Girl says “So what” you figure she meant “So. . .what”. Badwater says the very same thing and it comes across like “Yea, so what”. And then if Adie said, “Is that ok with you” we all figure she means, “Oh, is that ok with you”. But raven must mean, “Hey jerk, why you buttin in here when we have been talking about this for 30 minutes”.

hey guys. i just got the toobz back (my turn ;->), & stumbled headlong into yer gripin. i can’t begin to tell you how frustrating it is to be ignored, or attacked for the wrong reasons, or??? I’m still waiting on responses from some regulars goin’ back weeks, no. months. obviously not worth steaming over or even remembering, much less holding my breath. I always hated the idea of sororities in school. Hated it that each individ. couldn’t be accepted on his/her own terms. It just happens. In a blog population numbering in the 10’s of thousnds, with “facebook” to help people with like interests to “clump”. It’s a hard job to satisfy all.
Stick around. Don’t you DARE leave this place.

Puleeze don’t blame ALL Dems, ALL-a damtime. I’m 66 in 2 days (woo hoo), & I have no doubt you’ve endured far more than I in some realms. We.Need.Eachother. In my personal experience, I’ve never seen things worse than now, a party more driven to do whatever they can to stay in power and enrich their own, in the face of whatever element of the universe they might perceive as threatening their personal plans – on any level, no matter how petty their own desires, or urgent the needs elsewhere.[imho, the rebubblecans as a party have lost their collective compass, any hint of compassion, yadda yadda… stone cold of heart & out for self gratification of a type that would embarrass a kid in the 6th grade.

Stay.Tough. Stay.Open minded. Stay.Skeptical. STAY OPTIMISTIC enough to put one foot in front of the other. Puleeeze be extremely reluctant to tear down your peers, and members of the Democratic Party. Listen to them. Make Enable them to listen to you. It helps mightily to figure out where they are coming from. That’s a start.

imo, FDL is the best shot you’ve got. Don’t be afraid to help the community here to understand your concerns. They’ve been working steadily ever since I can remember, to improve the accessibility of discussion and convenient links, etc. for everyone.

Yeah, Bush makes Mel Brooks’ character in Blazing Saddles look like a brilliant leader. Too bad Bush is surrounded by all those minions of Satan. Which explains the difference between that comedy and our current tragedy.

BLIND OPTIMISM
I tend to think of George W. Bush as the Ed Wood of presidents, and we’re forced to watch his “Plan 9 From Outer Space” again and again and again. The one difference being Rudy Giuliani playing the lead role in “Glen or Glenda.”
