The Libertarian has been against Bush for a while.

I know another far-right-wing Republican who still supports Bush (a 30%er). He’ll never change.

These are exactly the same stances they held in 2004 except the social Republican is very very angry when in 2004 he was just annoyed at the Bush admin. incompetence.

This needs to be resolved soon, but with this small group I don’t see any further change in positions: 67% are against Bush and have been for years.

The only thing which has changed is the degree of animosity towards Bush and that might make it possible to get rid of Bush & Cheney.

The pressure is built. It needs to be relieved by the Congressional Republicans. Time to step up to the plate and serve an ace.

Maybe one of the reasons for the Dems. lethargic performances is that they maybe having a hard time planning and strategising with Leiberman at the centre.
I don’t see how they talk candidly to each other without fear of the other side knowing what was said…when they are not being out foxed, they have a hard time getting their message out.

That’s one of the reasons why he should have been stripped of his committee memberships — or transferred to committees where he couldn’t do any real damage.

This is exactly the thinking the Soviets used to keep their military stuck in Afghanistan, wearing down and breaking. That worked out well for the Soviet Union, didn’t it?

And Osama bin Laden used to take our paychecks in order to keep the Soviets pinned down in Afghanistan, wearing and breaking their military — and their civil society as well.

Now, ordinarily breaking what used to be the richest nation on earth in this manner would be a tall order. But Bush, with his 2003 tax cuts for the rich and his insistence on running up huge deficits that even cuts in social spending can’t fix, is destroying America’s credit rating as he allows American jobs to flow out of the country — thus making Osama’s job much easier. In fact, aside from making a few videos every election cycle to scare folks into believing Bush’s Osama=Saddam=Dems conflation, he doesn’t have to lift a finger: Bush is doing his bidding as perfectly as if Osama was directing him with a joystick.
