This is a hoax. Really, it’s been debunked. It’s a quote from Kinsley’s thoughts about how he might have been mentioned in the Reagan Diaries. Did not happen.

Federal elections in the USA are held only in even-numbered years, which 2007 is not. Hope this helps.

One of my favorite jokes was when Stephen Wright said he’d had an argument with a Vegas croupier about whether 4 was an ‘odd’ number. Maybe 2004 *was* an odd year.

I think it’s unrealistic to expect Americans to go along with war criminals (Bushies, not Petraeus).

I think it’s unrealistic to think you’ll ever get Dubya to compromise as he has yet to do that.

I think it’s unrealistic to think our military can go on this way forever or that our country’s financial state can continue to worsen without severe consequences.

Do you beg a court to compromise with serial killers to avoid the embarrassment of having the public discover the killer is a relative of yours?

Anyone who would found a company with Mark Penn is, by definition, lacking both a brain and a conscience.

If the Dem primary is in any way close and Edwards is fighting it out with Clinton then he should never never never never say a word until the vote has been counted about three times. Claiming victory or conceding assumes you know something which isn’t so likely with someone like Penn involved.

But the horrors wrought by this administration ticked off an obsession in me to fight for my civil rights, to oppose an invasion and occupation resulting in the murder of hundreds of thousands, to rail against the destruction of our environment, etc. etc. etc.

I’ve been ashamed of the fact that I have had my head in the sand and not wanted to openly admit my sheepleness to other activists who now populate my life online and off.

The one thing Bu$h ever said that resonates as true, in my life at least, is that he is uniter, not a divider. Well, half true. He’s divided scads, but he’s also united many of us who weren’t paying attention and after this travesty upon everything American, I don’t see me going back to sleep in my lifetime. I’m not ancient, but I am old enough to know that I intend to be a part of the reparations needed to my country that will likely last to my dying day.

We pretty thoroughly were able to rid ourselves, kick ass when it was Nixon trying to play Dictator of the World. THIS is different. Nothing seems to work. I attribute that to a large extent to the lack of responsible media happening now, whereas when it was Nixon we were fighting, we HAD media who fought along side with us. The other problem is our gutless lying congress.

I’ll never stop fighting for America. I’ll never ignore her again. There! It’s out. I hope “better late than never” applies here.
