(Appalled a few minutes back to hear Lehrer News Hour’s token “liberal” (sic) Mark Shields crowing that MoveOn’s “tasteless” BetrayUs reference gave Dem’s the chance to “liberate” themselves from the wicked “anti-war base” (some 65% of the public, last I heard.) Sigh!

The Demos and their desire to lose & capitulate. As MLK said, all that’s needed for evil to triumph is for good people to capitulate to it. Do we have more than 2-3 Demos (Feingold, sometimes Dean) who’ll stand up to it?
