Iraq soon will enter into the fifth year of ongoing conflict betwixt Iraqi and Iraqi and betwixt Americans and Iraqis.

9/11 now has reached the sixth year mark since that terrible mornings attacks and high death tolls. Still the image of Americans jumping from WTC towers to certain death remains the most vivid and illustrative of the awfulness of 9/11.

Invading Iraq and occupying Iraq has now been fully wound into 9/11. This was not ever how events needed to proceed after 9/11.

Or should have.

G.W.Bush has led Americans into a terrible war and occupation in Iraq. Millions of Iraqis now have either been killed,suffered greatly in so many ways or become ME refugees.

All because of G.W.Bush.

Because of Dick Cheney.

Because of Donald Rumsfeld.

Because of people with last names like Kagan,Perle,Kristol,Ledeen,Feith and Wolfowitz.

War crimes have taken place in Iraq that took place due to Americans choices and conduct.To think otherwise is self-deceitful.

This is a shrouded deception all Americans must confront.American war crimes in Iraq. Set in motion in highest offices of WashDC. Against and in Iraq based on untruths and craven desires/goals,on illegal decisions and conduct.

This coming week more lies,untruths and the worst of spun wishful thinking will be thrown at the American people by their leaders and representatives in WashDC.

Something has gone very wrong in WashDC and unless or until WashDC is brought to heel over the lies,duplicity and moral/ethical failures and shortfalls it so readily has endorsed and endorses still in Iraq and other ME conflicts events in the ME will only become worse.

Why is finding profiles in courage and doing what is right being done so rare in WashDC?

Unfortunately, like some many at his level in the pentagon, Betrayus is a shameless self promoter whose care for his troops is a disgusting abomination. He is a photo op press release general who lives on service to the people in power above him. We used to call people like him REMF’s cause they got so many people killed needlessly.

Very familiar indeed with the term, first heard during my stint in the USAF…This is not a consensus opinion. Petraeus has been building a reputation for quite some time, as even I had heard about him some years ago, in positive terms. As to besmirching his honor…I would like to see the facts of the situation that make the General an “abomination”.

I think Siun may be better able to get it for you than me. I’m just going on what my friends in the business tell me; they are good people and I trust them and a number of them really, really hate Petraeus. (Did you know that is the name of a classical Centaur? And Centaurs were on the whole not nice folk? Weird conincidence if true.)

Oh, I think one explanation may be the “old” and “new” Petraeus. At one time he was indeed a fine soldier and did well by himself and his men. That may have been when you heard about him. But at some point he got “E-ring-Itis”, the desperate hope for those four shiny stars, and the rest may have been history…again this is from hearsay, so i’ll try to get some facts.
