I haven’t followed her record, so I’m sorta taking everybody’s word for it that she’s a lot like Lieberman and Clinton.

However, if you want to get rid of somebody before election time and there’s no recall, then forcing her to resign by exposing fraud or some kind of abuse in her family might well be a way to the end of that rainbow.

How one goes about that is anybody’s guess.

Feinstein is also considered the Most Popular Democrat in California, with an approval rating in the stratosphere.

Since she was just re-elected with an overwhelming majority, she — like many Senators — has no reason to fear a voter backlash now.

She might have been persuadable last year. That opportunity passed.

I have an extreme right-winger friend, who has a brain anyway. He reads everything, and his hair has been on fire for months about Feinstein and contracts funneled to her defense contractor husband, mostly in the context of, “Why isn’t the liberal media covering this?” At first I discounted him, since I know full well that the corporate media is no liberal media, but then I learned that Feinstein resigned her seat on the subcommittee that has jurisdiction over military support contracts. She would not do that without a very good reason. And there was no coverage of it. I ask you, how strange is it that the corporate media did not jump all over a story involving corruption by a DEMOCRAT? Unheard of. Something is up.

I think that what is up is that the righties are blackmailing her with that corruption story, not imvestigating it forcefully and keeping their media lapdogs from making noise about it, because in a closely divided Senate she is far more valuable to them as a voting Democrat than she would be as an exposed Democrat. That would explain why she went Republican on all the key votes noted by commenters above. It’s not mysterious, it’s effective blackmail.

I say, Christy, check this story out, and if you can verify it, then FDL should out her HERE and make a huge stink about it. Let’s burn the double agent ourselves, so she can be of no further use to the enemy.

Will it weaken the Dem’s case on corruption. A little, possibly, but not much since she is such a DINO anyway. and if it does, that just helps the case for a credible third part alternative, dooesn’t it, and I fervently believe that a third party is the only cure that can save us from the cesspool of the “two-party-with-one-head” system.

So DIFI paraded as a Democrat. The only reason she made mayor was because somebody shot the sitting mayor. When she first ran for that office, it was as an incumbent. Ironic that she is so anti-gun, when it was a gun that made her mayor. As she was trying to disarm the public, she was carrying a piece in her purse. When that got embarrassing, she hired armed goons–as MAYOR.

A hypocrite from beginning to end, both she and Pelosi have such entrenched machines out here that there is nobody willing to run against them, and nobody with the money to oppose them.

Cowards and scum bags. It only shows when they get congress back and do–nothing, or worse.

Come on folks, dont just bitch about it, lets get some people lined up and working (and I’m not talking about Cindy Sheehan either, I’m talking about someone that can win with netroots support)

(Sigh), looks like I need to fire off yet another letter to Senator Feinstein holding up Senator Boxer as a template for future legislative actions. She just doesn’t seem to get it. She needs a primary challenger. I would contribute money and time to a primary challenger.

DiFi voted for the expansion of FISA; Boxer didn’t even bother to vote, and won’t explain why.

California needs some help here, folks.
