yes it’s disgusting that Craig is a closeted homosexual who used his power to persecute and scapegoat gays. and even more shame if he was pursuing underage pages as rumor has it. but the issues are hypocrisy and lawbreaking, not his stature on your hypothetical masculinity scale. at least, i would hope those are the issues for our elected officials, as the leaders in the democratic lineup for president does not have anyone who has served in the military, and so would fall under “effete” (and therefore not eligible to be a politician?) according to your definitions.

Shouldn’t toss li’l Lindsey in with the others. He may be creepy, but he’s still serving in the reserve. He may be a hypocrite, but there are enough others who match the description that you don’t need to risk your credibility by tarring him with that brush.

Got up and caught others talking about it. Looked out – there’s a huge-ass moon outside my bedroom window. Grabbed the camera, ran to the car and while I’m chasing the moon I’m listening to the ‘rock’ stations (switching). Man are they pissed about Larry Craig! Two stations thought Craig would be out by the end of the day. ??
