I hope Hillary and Barack are very careful and the Secret Service (or is it the FBI?) protects them well.

For Democracy to work we need to be free to speak our minds on political issues and to hold office if our peers see fit to elect us. If someone is intimidated or harmed it isn’t just that person and their family who is hurt, it’s the whole political process and all of us.

The comments from this Conservative chat-room are interesting. They don’t seem to think that there is very much wrong with “The Nuges” threatening elected officials with automatic weapons.

it just dawned on me……….

maliki couldn’t come through with the oil legislation……..so all bets are off………i have always thought that is the number one thing…….back when condi was on charlie rose, etc…….all of the interviews had to do with ‘legislation’…..i’ve been talkin’ about that for months……..though i don’t repeat myself as often as some……

but now, we have new reneging of positions……..maliki……..no oil legislation……..allawi, our guy we put in position to make it happen, and got voted out………they want to bring him back, to make it happen……..

oh, and reports today on all things considered, pkk-kurds, have american weapons, confiscated in turkey, maybe gotten on the black market from those that disappeared……..i think maybe just given to them……….
