Your goal of refuting his points and speaking up about his bad manners can be made at a lower emotional temperature. Not so much, hey winger you made me mad and you’re a jerk, but instead, a more aloof tone. You are in control and he is just a mosquito. Smile and swat.

I saw this Post story last night and was able to sleep on t. I’m convinced this is why Rove resigned when I read lines like this:

“Investigators, however, said the scale of Rove’s effort is far broader than previously revealed; they say that Rove’s team gave more than 100 such briefings during the seven years of the Bush administration. How sweet that would be. The justice would be ever more poetic were he indicted under a law that bears the name of a Republican.

But there are no criminal repercussions to violating the Hatch Act, are there? So does this indicate that he left the WH to continue his skullduggery with less of a spotlight?
