ydj, I do believe there’ll be room in that stretch pick-em-up-truck-limo with the longhorns for anyone who wants to go to the Broken Spoke!

A couple of my friends almost got us in hot water at the Broken Spoke one time when our female server spied a stray bottle cap from a type of bottled beer they didn’t serve there. It took me a second to figure out what in the hell the brew ha ha was over until I realized someone snuck a beer in.

The place where I had the most fun going two-steppin in Austin in the late 80’s was Dessau Hall. The place opened in 1876 but is closed as of today. I still have a pair of redwing workboots I love wearing here in the Oregon winter.

All you can eat places would shutter the doors if they saw me coming. Around age 30 it started to show, and if you gain 5 lbs a year for 20 years, that’s like 100 lbs.
