GOP pushing for electoral votes to be awarded by the congressional district winner. Giving the GOP an additional 20 electoral votes based on historical voting.

Typical GOP mantra, if you can’t win by playing by the rules, change the rules.

This is absolutely absurd…and specifically UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

One doesn’t vote for electors that represent the Congressman…it’s an elector to vote for PRESIDENT. States can only allocate these electors proportionally to the Statewide vote for President or to the Presidential candidate that has won the majority.

That’s it…

Electoral College representation has NOTHING to do with Congressional Representatives.
