One of your posts appeared over at DU. I had stopped reading you and firedoglake after the ‘C-Word’ fiasco. I still don’t understand how a male can use that term and say he isn’t sexist. And for Jane to enable you in using that derogatory term toward women is simply incomprehensible to me. BTW, do you use the ‘N-Word’ and yet claim you’re not a racist?

Anyway, I saw your post at DU and just wanted to point out to you that your hatred of women is so very, very descriptive while your hatred of the rich, white boys (and wingnuts) not so much:

Let’s get something straight here. The reason the Republicans are running from a YouTube debate has nothing to do with embarrassing themselves and everything to do with the horror that is the Republican base (see video at link). Imagine a whole two hour debate composed entirely of questions from men lovingly cradling their assault rifles, matronly polyester-swathed frumps of much avoirdupois braying and squawking about abstinence-only education and the danger of Harry Potter in our schools, angry old men taking a break from standing on their porches shouting, “Get the hell out of my yard!” to stare Mike Gravel-like into the camera and demand to know what the candidates plan to do about “th’ dayumn Mexicans”.

So Trex, do you see all of those hateful adjectives directed toward the women while Men are just Men….OK, you did call the second group of men angry and old…but it’s just fine and dandy for Men to be angry and old…it makes them wise and statesmanlike. Right?

I am writing this to you not to start a war of words via email…I simply ask you to look within yourself and ask why you hate women so much more than the rich white hetero males who are the ones really fucking up this world. Those women are merely tools of the patriarchy. They’ve been socialized to accept fear as the norm and a man as their protector…their self-esteem was probably gone by age three. And they learned very quickly that they are nothing but a sexual hole…incapable of anything else.

You know, I lived in San Franicisco from ‘77 to ‘93 and lived through the deaths of my very best friends from AIDS. Gay men and Feminists were huge allies in the battle against the rich white hetero guys…but the Gay men all died. Your generation seems to have grabbed onto the power that the rich white hetero males have allowed you…big mistake. They are NOT your allies.

One of my now dead friends believed that the HIV virus was purposefully brought into the gay community to rid our society of a large, angry, politically-aware, and very vocal group. And then the next generation could be enticed with our culture’s norms of marriage and the nuclear family….and sure enough, this plan has seemed to work. Also, the tactic of ‘divide and conquer’ between Gay men and Feminists has been used with great success.

FYI, ‘Equal Marriage’ was used by the Women’s Liberation Movement to mean that the male would do his share of housework and helping with children (if there were any) and the women would work outside the home in an endeavor other than housework and child-rearing (if so desired).

Take a couple of minutes and do some introspection about your views on women. As John Lennon said, ‘Women are the N-Words of the world.” Why the hell do you want to play ‘Kick the Dog’ with us? Does that really make you feel more powerful? You’re playing right into the hands of the rich white boys, you know?

Maybe you’d like to be enlightened….if so, check out ‘I Blame the Patriarchy’ written by Twisty…a cancer surviving lesbian who nails it on the head….the hatred of women is taught, accepted and revered. Is that what you’re about?

A goodly number of Baghdadi Jews migrated to India . One of them is the father of one of my best friends.

Since no one else seems to want the Cliff Claven role tonight … did you know that there are Jews in India whose ancestors left Galilee and were granted asylum there ? The Kings gave them land to establish their community and continue their traditions. Many years later, they did the same for Christians when they were being slaughtered and again for Zoroastrians.

And the Christians practiced a more primitive version of Christianity and used a different scripture than the Orthodox Christians. When the Portuguese occupied Goa they burned these Aramaic-language Gospels as heretical and forced them into Catholicism.

How childish!

Well, I thought I was going to be coming to Chicago for Friday night to hang with Firepups but I cannot find a hotel or motel room less than 25 miles away from McCormick Place that is affordable. Word to the wise, if your hotel room is near O’Hare, it is 25 miles from the convention center and the Dan Ryan Expressway is under construction in parts this summer making it a minimum one hour drive in good traffic conditions between the airport and downtown Chicago.

Plus, today I got a call to help my friend Barry Welsh announce his run against Mike Pence to district media outlets when he makes his huge announcement at Ykos on Friday. I’m filling in as Acting Press Secretary until we find someone to take the gig so I can concentrate on being Barry’s New Media Producer for the campaign. I’m gonna be in charge of his online video and podcasting operations.

Wow, fini, we’ll sure miss ya, but what a lucky guy Barry is to have you on his team!
