Right Wing bloggers are the kinds of guys who get a couple sheets to the wind and decide they want to do some blow, so they call up this one guy they’re pretty sure does drugs who works at their law-firm and shout down their cell phone at him from a crowded bar, “Dude! Pete, man! It’s Chad! Chad Anderson! Chad! Anderson! Right, from down the hall, listen man, do you know how we could GET SOME DRUGS? Like some COKE OR SOMETHING? We’d like totally share with you, man! Hello? Hello?!”
And then they’d call him back, “Dude, I think we got cut off! Hello? Pete?”
Not only do they happily report to the White House via conference call to get their weekly ration of talking points about How to Spin Questions of Executive Privilege, but then they go around and thump their chests around their even smaller-dicked buddies to brag about it. Think about that.
“Hey, Chester, a bunch of Liberty University grads who work for a guy with a 29% approval rating just told me exactly what to say and think for the next week until they call me back! Oh, shit! I forgot to ask them how I’m supposed to wipe my ass!”
Perhaps Right Wing bloggers are the last people in America addle-headed enough to take advice from the Bush Administration. Well, Righty bloggers and people who speak in tongues and bring snakes to church, but they don’t have computers and they can’t read anyway, so they don’t count.
I don’t think the Bush administration is in a position to be giving anybody advice right now. But regardless of that, Right Wingers, you’ve got this all wrong. Blogging is not meant to be a top-down thing. They call the grassroots the grassroots because they grow from the bottom upward.
Really, though, a lot of the hysterical jealous tantrums we’re seeing on the Right side of the blogosphere have to do with the fact that, well, they’re ugly and they’re stupid and nobody likes them.
Says John Linder, member of the House GOP Steering Committee:
“I really don’t pay much attention to blogs,” he said. “You can say anything on those blogs without any attribution and get away with it.”
Liberal blogs have been influential, the Georgia lawmaker acknowledged. But he dismissed their conservative counterparts, saying, “I don’t pay any attention to them.”
Ace and Captain Ed and Blackfive and Michelle Malkin are ready to eat tacks and shit bullets that the Dem Candidates are coming to our big party in Chicago. Do you think for a minute that if Righty Blogistan had a convention that they’d get anybody there besides Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter? Come on, can’t you see Rudy Giuliani falling all over his Brutinis to rub shoulders with Dafydd ab Hugh?
Yeah, me either.

Hey TRex, I hear there is a little blue pill that helps with premature posting.
Hiya TRex!
dos?
fourth…
cinco?
yellowdog jim @ 4
neither one of us can count! ;-)
we all tried.
Hi TRex!
LoudounLib @ 7
Maybe y’all need to decide on a language and THEN count.
Hi everybody.
Chad !!!
LoudounLib @ 7
no a counts!
Evening, TRex. I can’t see it either. And, might I add, I don’t even wanna think about it, much less see it.
SnarKassandra @ 9
language is overrated for counting.
Right On, TRex! Hey, have you found out whom all was in on the conference call? Capt. wouldn’t say who was on the line!
No.
And that’s a remarkable difference. A story that, because it’s been developing for years, is an indictment of the corporate media. This has been obvious for some time now, yet their only mention of bloggers – outside of the Rather brouhaha – is to condemn lefty bloggers as frothing lunatics.
The facts on the ground tell quite a different story. Why can’t the press tell it?
Yeah, you know, Linder’s right. I mean, when was the last time you heard a wingnut politician say something without attribution and get away with it?
JT @ 16
Because the “press” is willfully obtuse and chooses NOT to see it.
Front to back, everybody knows that.
Evening, gang. I was just going to post a YouTube and bag it early tonight, but I had a brainstorm. A snarky one.
How are you guys?
Suzanne @ 2
Ooh, Ma Cheri, low blow…!!! ;-)
It is an insult to the word blog that you include the pablum spewing pajama crowd as bloggers.
I think a better word is stenographer.
TRex @ 20
Me bez good. How you bez?
yellowdog jim @ 14
Right. Why do think dog gave you all those fingers?
TRex @ 20
Super, thanks for asking.
Hi everybody … have I missed anything exciting ?!! *g*
Todo tranquilo aqui, TRex
Maybe OT, but, in LA, pbs, now….Bill Moyers on Earmarks….millions of dollars spent on Bridges To Nowhere.
If you watch tv while you blog…it’s good.
Also, later on PBS, Palast on Now on Caging and other ways the Administration is trying to influence the 2008 election.
Since they have Tweety, Punkinhead, Hume, Chris Wallace, Orally, Hannity, Broder, Hiatt and Brooks, they don’t really need Daffyd ab Hugh. Why try for 21st century media when you’ve got a lock on BirdCageLiner Media? I mean, except for Robinson, Froomkin, Dionne, and Dowd — aren’t bloggers all the Democrats have on their side?
And don’t anybody stick up for Richard Cohen, please.
What’s the brainstorm, T? Does it involve chewing-up pundits and spitting them out? Huh, huh, please!
Petrocelli @ 26
Dood!!! Have your pests drowned yet?
CTuttle @ 21
Posting? I’m so confused… is this an equestrian blog?
TeddySanFran @ 29
Robinson was so great today.

TeddySanFran @ 29
You forgot Olberman and I’m not too sure I’d stick Dowd on our side.
It has been wet here in the West today which is nice cuz we need the rain.
And how is Georgia?
TRex @ 34
Let’s see. Rule #1: Read the post.
Rule #2: Preview is your friend.
Rule #3: Congratulate Suzanne when there’s no splash.
Rule #4: Don’t ask questions of the therapod when you don’t already know the answer.
Sorry [slumps away to follow the rules]

Major rain at our house as well. Did you know they mobilized the guard to Marble Falls & Cedar Park, among other places. A little too close to home.

Breathing in LA.
Whew! I know that vertebral fusion is generally a last resort with mixed results, so I’m glad to know we’re talking tech toys here and not spinal columns.
With regards to back surgery I ascribe to the, “Only God can make a tree” school of thought. I just don’t think even the best orthopedic surgeons really know how it all works back there.
Anyone here who’s had successful back surgery is free to set me straight on this.
Petrocelli @ 26

? for the GOP YouTube debaters: (so far only Ron Paul and Old Lord McCain) ” Do you know why your opponents for the nomination are afraid to face the American people’s questions?”
If somebody with YouTube skills got that question up quickly, I think RSVPs from the remaining candidates would flood in.

hi tsf!
My sister in antioch called & wants me to come out to the bay area to visit, offered to send me plane tickets! i’m tempted….
Greetings from Maine.
I drove my car into a ditch. My debit card was cancelled during my stay here, bec. my credit union switched “providers” and I didn’t get the message. So, no access to my own money. I yelled nicely at the guy at the credit union, talking to him on a pay phone across from the library, in the pouring rain.
This is the first FDL thread that I have had the chance to read in real time, from Maine.
TRex- I sent you some thoughts via email about Linder. He is one creepy dude.
newdealfarmgrrrll, think of how much later you would be able to stay at the lake operating on west coast time.
It is being announced to me from the kitchen (the most resonant room in the house) that the cat-box isn’t up to Someone’s standards.
Siamese.
If you’ll excuse me for a minute…
Suzanne @ 90
None of the above — the IRS decided to ruin my life by taking an absolutely ridiculous position in an Advance Pricing Agreement case that I’m working on, so it’s been 16 hour days since Wednesday.
Loo Hoo. @ 97
Girlfriend, I’ve met You, and you’re so cute.
Really. Really.
(But, still…Bill Moyers and Greg Palast…on PBS…
Sorry to be boring on a Friday nite.
SOOOOOOO totally willing to share. :)
Valley Girl @ 100
Welcome! May the coming week be better than the previous one.

Memo to John Lindner, the head of the House GOP Steering committee:

pierce aero, did you remember to cut and paste your facebook profile page URL in the box provided on your FDL profile after you logged in?

Loo Hoo: Speaking of Blumenthal, I was delighted that Bill Moyers’s show tonite used a long excerpt from Blumenthal’s video of young Republicans explaining why they couldn’t be bothered to right in Iraq…it was counterpoint to photos of an 18-year-old American soldier who was killed this month. Powerful, powerful sequence with no editorial commentary required.
Valley Girl @ 102
(((( Valley Girl))) it’s awful when one of those terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days happens.
Someone’s standards.
Anything to share with your late night BFFs?
TRex @ 34
Oh Madge, I can feel it working!

Boy, was it ever. Did you see the look on Bill’s face before the show stopped? Disgusted.
CD, is Moyers on HBO? I always see his show after the fact.

How do, Late Nite ‘Pups? Feels like forever since I could post a comment, been too damned busy. Can only do a fly-by before I hit the hay.

TexB and Suz-
So, things are okay. I got $$ wired to me via a bank in Maine. I was yelling, but I was also nice, bec. I said I have had my account with you for more than 20 years, and this is the first time I have ever had a problem.]
re: car in ditch. well, actually, that was okay too. One of those stories that comes full circle. After car in ditch, I trekked back to local friend to phone AAA.
I first met dear local friend when I had to knock on doors to call AAA when I locked my keys in my car 10 years back in same locale. As it turned out, the guy who came to tow my car out of the ditch was the nephew of the guy who got my keys out of my car.
So, really, there was a certain “rightness” to the whole ditch episode. There’s more to the history, but my friend got a good laugh about the fact that I am well known locally.
TeddySanFran @ 96
Admittedly, I’m easily amused. But, I think it’s hysterical that the repubs won’t come to the debate. There goes Russert’s (and countless others’) talking point about ‘if the Dems can’t stand up to FoxNews…blah, blah, blah’.
Totally loving it.
But if they do come, can some tech genius photoshop a video of a dog on the luggage rack (and the luggage where the dog goes) for Mitt.
demi @ 130
We’re going to have ourselves a time, demi. Aunt Petunia will be giving tech lessons for those of us less attuned/clever. We’ll email you, and post here about what’s going on. So will other firepups. Stay tuned.
Attack Fox
I have never seen a right wing blog. I just can’t understand when people talk about fantasy things as if they really exist, or that they matter.
Media Campaign, Petitions, Impeachment Info
Bildo is real however… He is seen and listened to by many who have been convinced he is “mainstream” and is “keeping them safe”
If there was such a thing as a gooper blog, and if that thing made _any_ difference in the real world… I might raise an eyebrow ;)
http://www.applebees.com/GuestLanding.aspx
^^^ Take a moment and tell Applebees that supporting right wing extremism is gonna be bad for business!
Loo Hoo. @ 133
And facebook lessons & blogging 101.
Loo Hoo. @ 123
Loo Hoo: Even though Moyers is only on PBS, there’s a lot of variability around the U.S. as to when a particular show airs locally. I’ve found the simplest solution to be (1) go to pbs.org and (2) type in your ZIP code for a quick local schedule.
OK Suzanne – Now I put in the facebook profile URL. Thanks for the hint. Try again. Sorry for all the OT intrusions.
Suzanne @ 125
Stuff happens. Nothing terribly wrong with a bunch of unexpected billable hours.
pierce aero @ 137
woohoo! you are f’d! not an intrusion – this is late nite and off topic is encouraged amongst the late nite barnstorming.

Suddenly my dead battery and even deader bank account don’t seem so bad.

Thanks, CD.

Think Progress:
A key aide to to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said that “relations with U.S. commander Gen. David Petraeus are so poor the Iraqi leader may ask Washington the withdraw the well-regarded U.S. military leader from duty here. The Iraqi foreign minister calls the relationship ‘difficult.’”
How many of you are going to YearlyKos? Couldn’t make it myself so will be depressed next week. Will cspan be showing it?
Loo Hoo. @ 146
It’s been asked before and I’ll ask again: What ever happened to the War Czar?
solai @ 144
We had quite a bit of fun last year – those of who could not go to YKos – hanging out here at the lake. Was the first time Jane gave the keys to the blog to TRex and we had a blast.
I expect this year to be just as fun.
Hey all, thanks for the kind words.
I was not feeling too chipper when I drove the car into the ditch. Actually, I inadvertently backed the car into the ditch, and then tried to drive out, which made things much worse. Any of you who live in the NE will understand when I say that there are a lot of hidden ditches- covered by grass, covered by snow, etc.
solai @ 148
Playing P*K*R with Karen Hughes, maybe.
After last Friday night, I was going to link to some more Brad Paisley, but the song I was looking for apparently doesn’t have a video.
So here’s some Julie Roberts instead.
Loo Hoo. @ 99
You’re a sweetie Loo Hoo … … had to go looking for Krispy Kreme because “Little Johnny” wants some … Tim Horton’s is God in Canada … second only to Hockey … and he wants Krispy Kreme !!!
GSD- I emailed you with an invite to come visit me in Maine. Next year, maybe. I’m sure you would have told me how not to drive into ditches!
Ah, now that was a party. There are still stains in the carpet.
solai @ 148
Good question. Maybe he just gets a salary sitting on the sidelines for when W next needs someone to blame. Easy work till you get your name smeared?
In the Cognitive Dissonance department…is it beyond weird for the anti-Big-Government Republicans to choose for their bloggers’ briefing the most pressing issue of Executive Privilege…i.e., why their government should have even more power than they thought it did?
Looking glass, indeed.
demi @ 92
Oh ohh … cleanup in aisle 92 ...
TRex @ 152
Is that why there is a “no black lights” rule?
Loo Hoo. @ 153
Does anyone know what he gets paid or is it classified?

Hey Guys!

Speaking of stains in the carpet.
As regards the War Czar, I keep telling you all, he got thrown under the bus just as soon as he lost that New Czar Smell.

Just a reminder about Comey’s testimony and it’s variance from what Abu has said.
The issue was the mandatory 45-day REAUTHORIZATION of a program that the DOJ had determined was ILLEGAL. The Reauthorization rREQUIRED the signature of the Attorney General. Comey, and Ashcroft, had determined that they would NOT REAUTHORIZE the Executive Order without substantial changes. The WH was told THIS.
Comey was appointed Acting AG while Ashcroft had surgery.
Abu and Andrew Card then went to the hospital room of Ashcroft, circumventing (illegally) the legal appointment of Comey as acting AG…in order to get the sedated Ashcroft to rreauthorize the original ILLEGAL PROGRAM.
After the incident was unsuccessful…the Executive Order was “approved” (Illegally) by someone in the WH without the Sr. DOJ officers approval. Comey, Ashcroft, FBI Director Meuller, and several other high ranking DOJ and FBI officials threatened to resign if the Executive Order was implemented and not rescinded.
Bush blinked (apparently) and rescinded the order and made changes to it (supposedly). Perhaps he simply stripped the approval required by the DOJ to the program.
But it seems clear that Bush is essentially “creating law” by the use of these Executive Orders, rather than going through Congress to pass laws, thus subverting the Constitution and the “Balance of Powers”.

Barry Bonds hit his 754th career home run Friday night, and needed just one more to tie Hank Aaron’s record.
Now we are hearing from folks in the DOJ – I wonder when we will be hearing from the folks over at CIA who are just as pissed about the privatization of CIA intelligence gathering – not to mention the outing of a CIA NOC?
Good night to those headed to bed.

Yep, I’ve gotten tired of waiting for the CIA people and those in other intelligence agencies to start coming forward … hopefully the Mueller testimony will start that ball rolling …

Tim Horton is a former professional hockey player who started a chain of donut shops after he retired from the NHL. They’re now as ubiquitous in Canada as Starbucks are in the US (i.e., one on every corner). Yet another reason why Canada is the greatest country on earth.

Bonds baby…
going to Wis. this weekend to help “plant the popster” ie family talk for little ceremony at cemetery to bury my dad’s ashes. When he died in Feb we decided to postpone this part of it til summer as a big blizzard was brewing and indeed hit the day of the memorial service.
Expect it will be a lot of laughs (in a good sense) as my dad had a wonderful dry sense of humor and a low taste for practical jokes which were invariably hilarious due to combination of infrequency, meticulous planning, and deadpan expression.
An example: It had been a cold, dreary late-winter-early-spring day and drizzle was dampening the dusk. Kids of the household were busy with homework, chores, etc. when Dad came storming into the house. We were all scared of his temper which luckily didn’t erupt very often. He yelled, “The pigs are out! Get up to the barn and help get them rounded up!”
Dad marched all six kids and Mom up to the barn, stationed each one of us in a different spot with instructions to stay there till he got the pigs herded in that direction. BTW, full-grown pigs are scary. Hence, we were scared. None of us could see the others, but we could hear Dad occasionally shouting in the gathering gloom, mist, and occasional snowflake. I was standing next to the gate to the hog-house, Dad came scowling up to me. I quaked in my boots. He said, “April Fools!” and started snickering at the dumbfounded look on my face. He had us all so flummoxed that we’d forgotten it was that day…his favorite day of the year.
Wish he’d been in good enough health that i could have got him online, he’d have taken to the lake like a duck to water. He was a premier snarkster and he’d have loved the late nite threads like i do.
I also think that alot of law enforcement types look very unfavorably upon people who are weasels with weasely words and smug and knowing attitudes.
Gonzales behaves like John Gotti.
To think the rightwing was upset about “Clintonian parsing” of words.
Gonzales makes Bill Clinton look like a piker.

cinnamonape @ 173
Yep, and keep in mind that it took some time, 2-3 weeks if I recall correctly, for the “kinks” to be worked out. Presumably during that time the program was being run completely illegally.
burnspbesq @ 190
Are you coming up here ? Will you have time for a drink or three ? *g*
Me3- Is that really you? If so, welcome back.
Valley Girl @ 202
Old home days.

Custard filled with Maple glace on top … a la Boston cream … Krispy Kreme was closed so I made Little Johnny try one.
Tomorrow, I’m putting some Goalie pads on him and teaching him how to block a slap shot … *g*
Petro, those are them.

GSD @ 198
You should have seen them on Yahoo when I pointed out their violations of federal law and directed them to the various DoJ and FBI departments where I was logging their posts and reporting their criminal activity.
I did not just send over one or two…
He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice…
Christine Edmonson @ 166
You just reminded me of my driving history. So funny. I have never had an accident while driving forward. All of my collision accidents have been driving backwards/ backing up. There have been several!
marymccurnin @ 195
Any way to push this to the mainstream press? Can we ask anything about this?
Schumer will block any Bush SCOTUS nominee between now and 2009:
Good evening firepups!
marymccurnin @ 195
… I hope so, I cannot imagine they’d get away with outing Plame and her ‘company’ and putting so many assets in danger. We’ll never know how many lost their lives due to Valerie’s outing.
The cops I worked with don’t cotton to interference with investigations from anyone, whether City Hall or the WH.
And every dayam one of them hated lying above all else. Each one of us took an oath to uphold the Constitution and the cops I worked with took that seriously. Very seriously.
TRex, you’re birthday present just arrived. I picked it out a while back, but I just bought it and my daughter just put in on her way out. Guess the Brown brought it while I was away. I really like it. Do I still have to give it to you???
Valley Girl @ 202
Yep it’s really Me3. Who else causes this much trouble???

I told you all I could only stay online until the elections… I put off a _major_ research project because I knew my activism was important.
I have a new lab ;)

Chuck Schumer is my new bff. I just loves me a man that blocks bush scotus nominations.
TeddySanFran @ 209
Too Little, Too Late…!!! :-(
Schumer cannot be trusted. I think he will roll over on the next nominee should one come along between now and the end of The Disaster.
Thanks TSF. But I think CT may be right.
finifinito @ 217
Welp. Maybe I was wrong.
marymccurnin @ 219
Think Lieberman.

Will almost certainly be up there once or twice more before the big project wraps up. But no idea exactly when. Was hoping for late next week so I could hang around for the Toronto FC – Los Angeles Galaxy match (probably Beckham’s MLS debut), but that’s not happening.
Suzanne @ 212
I can imagine the ridicule and scorn for Gonzales. His behavior is so shocking. It is shocking that Bush and his deluded squawk box Tony Snow think that they are actually doing anything more than opening themselves up to more and more scorn by supporting the shallow and foolish Gonzales.
Like I said, Gonzales sounds and acts like every penny ante crook you’ve ever seen on Cops.
Suspect: “That aint my weed!”
Cop: But it was in your pants.
Suspect: “These aint my pants!”

Valley Girl-You just reminded me of my driving history. So funny. I have never had an accident while driving forward. All of my collision accidents have been driving backwards/ backing up. There have been several!
My high school graduation present was backing one of my dad’s cars into the other. I’ll never forget him screaming, “ARE YOU STUPID?”
Yeah exactly newtonusr! Now folks are catching on to him! Schumer is a Lieberman fellow traveler. I know a lot of progressives like Schumer for some foolish reason, but his voting record is astonishingly similar to Lieberman.
Hiya fini!
TexB @ 222
Evening Tex! Got any good snacks with ya? I’m famished.
marymccurnin @ 215
Wasn’t it nice of Haggis to get in front of the move to review Alito and Roberts ?
Leahy and Co. had better watch that he doesn’t run this into a dead end … Roberts and Alito should be impeached !
Valley Girl @ 207
A car salesman (damn them) once told me that “women don’t use side mirrors to back up” — maybe he was right, but I’m telling you, almost every accident I’ve had (those very few) was backing up. And really, I can parallel park a 1985 Ford Ranger without power steering in a heartbeat.
Petrocelli @ 211
Brewster Jennings had over 140 employees listed. Most of them were pulled when the “company” failed.
What is worse is the factual data they were providing, and this was a major factor in bringing the firm down. They sought oilfield data from the Sauds (a state secret) as well as enrichment data from Iran.
Bushco cannot _stand_ the truth… The idea was to discredit authentic resources, and replace them with propaganda.
TeddySanFran @ 228

Or more directly, on MTP, Schumer refuses to tell PunkinHead if he will support the Democratic nominee in CT. Bastard.
I think Schumer is calling Spectre’s bluff on his recent Alito/Roberts regrets: “Are ya with me, Arlen? Let’s block the next one, okay?”
AND TEDDY-monopolies, right?—The Roberts court overturned previous rulings on partial birth abortion and campaign finance reform.—
burnspbesq @ 224
That match must be sold out already, although I hope they don’t rush Becks to play … that ankle needs more time to heal.
“But Schumer and liberals were alarmed by many of the 5-4 rulings that went against their interests…”
Were they ‘alarmed’ when morning followed night too?
-GSD
Judge Roberts was Robert Bork with a makeover. Alito was Scalia without the rough edges.
yellowdog jim @ 110
I have had successful back surgery. I was totally in pain all the time before, and now I play racquetball 3-4 times a week, and NEVER have pain. Not ever. Been 16 years.
Schumer is doing what Schumer does best, pandering to the base in his home state. He knows he doesnt have the best record to run on and is more likely trying to fend off any progressive potential challengers next time he runs. When is he due up next? 2010?
TeddySanFran @ 235
Teddy – I would like to like Chuck. He’s been fair to excellent on the USA’s. But he bailed on Democrats re CT, and he is too close to Hillary for my taste.
btw newton, I just sent you a friend request on FB under my real name.
finifinito @ 217
No way. I don’t expect the dems to roll over on anything now. They found their mojo!
Christine Edmonson @ 230
Yes, the backing up accidents are hard to explain, for me too. Like you, I am an expert at parallel parking.
for TREX

GSD @ 238
I concur 100%, during the Alito hearings I was screaming at the Dems to ask real questions, forget those lame ones they kept asking! Personally I think the Dems were merely thankful they weren’t holding a Meirs confirmation process!
Suzanne @ 246
You deserve thousands more, my friend.
Loo Hoo. @ 243
Only until the next major terror attack inside our borders. Mark my words, it will be less than an hour after the next attack before we see wholesale rolling over by Dems in Congress. Just like in September of 2001, they will beg and plead for the big strong men of the Bush Machine to please make the icky terrorists go away, we’ll suspend the Constitution, just protect us!
james @ 247
Aw, thank you, james (blushing)
Suzanne, which little girl are you in the FB pic?
congrats, Suzanne.
I’m about as passive as can be on fb.

Any Senator from NY is going to be close to Hillary.
Anyone see this:

So does Pastor Ted!
Tex, I’m the little cutie with my hand over my heart on the right. Am standing with my two older half-sisters from my dad’s previous marriage.
TexB @ 245
MMMMMMM. I’ll take that white chocolate thingy with the dark chocolate dot on top on the right in the middle! MMMMMMMMM I loves me the white chocolate!
Joe Klein’s conscience @ 256
Oh I loved that article when I saw it!

I agree 110%. They will be tripping over themselves to get in front of the cameras to repudiate their criticism of the fuhrer.
TexB @ 245
Dibbs on the middle right chocolate.
james @ 261
This is confusing since the bastards have done nothing to protect us now or before 9-11.
Loo Hoo. @ 262
Oh no, I already called it. Thats MINE! [snags it, runs/dances across the room with it]
me@261
With the exception of Kucinich, Jackson-Lee, Wasserman-Schultz, and, hopefully, Whitehouse and Feingold, altho Russ caved on Roberts.
Those who can’t learn to share tonight may not get any snack tomorrow.
Next time a winger mentions John Edwards’ hair, show ‘em the primping Chimp.

Logic at this point in the time line would seem to say “This administration could not make us safe”
Besides, most Americans recognize the GOP as enuchs and perverts by now.

Hey Pun Aise!
Thanks for the email info re: the late nite ossifers/ officers. funny.
BigMitch @ 239
Some are good and some not so much, I could tell you stories about it took a year to relearn to walk from one the same one pierced a vein, or the one to my neck which took 6 weeks to heal. As for the senate it might take more than a surgeon, two wizards, and a large stick to fix what ails them.
Joe Klein’s conscience @ 256
Haggis is a blow hard !
I find him as repulsive as HoJo !
Goodnight all, keep the fires stoked.
TexB @ 266
Ooooooooooo kaaaaaay [breaks the awesome white chocolate in half, walks over to Loo] here, we can sharesy daresy!

In regards to AGAG:

Okay, now do something about it!!!

I think Chuck has learned his lesson. Hell, even Feingold was fooled by Roberts. Luckily Russ wasn’t fooled by Alito(though too many were).
