Leahy to close.

The tragic thing here is the on-going leadership crisis at DoJ affecting all the staff and workers on America’s front line for Justice.

You’ve lost my trust, Mr. Attorney General.

I’ve never said to any cabinet member – I hope you can regain the trust of the hardworking members of the Department. It’s very hard to regain credibility once it’s lost.

We will do our best to restore independence and accountability in the DoJ.

I’m seriously, gravely disappointed.

He should be OUTRAGED. He’s not dealing with wayward teens but a coordinated criminal conspiracy!

someone has to challenge him on his depraved definition of what is and what is not torture

AGAG didn’t offer up Cheney — Sheldon Whitehouse did, when he brought up a memo signed by AGAG about Cheney. Personally, I think AGAG would rather that memo had never seen the light of day.
