If only Hillary had voted no on the 2002 war resolution

Actually, I tend to favor the position taken by Clinton and Edwards at that time.

The question posed to them was what to do in light of the information they had. Of course, we don’t know precisely what information they had and Edwards has said he was borderline on it, so it couldn’t have been precisely clear.

Then there was the AUMF which didn’t say “Go kill Saddam and occupy Iraq.”. It said Bush should check with the U.N. and investigate for WMD further. Well, it wasn’t the Senate’s fault Bush is a jerk.

So, I don’t criticize anyone for their Senate vote, though I do like that Edwards has admitted it as a mistake and that Hillary has stubbornly insisted she voted the right way. Both have their positive values.

Now, in light of today’s information, we can ask them why Hillary was so late to change her view to leaving Iraq and of wanting to leave troops there and we can ask Edwards to try and be more precise on what would induce him to leave troops or on how he’d like to fight anti-American terrorists.

Obama’s anti-AUMF vote leaves me wondering.

SHillary’s hair & makeup certainly looked good. Is there a human being under there?
“modern progressive” means Reagan style NeoCon who won’t openly come out for lynching blacks & f*ggots but believes in more imperialist wars, redistributing money up to the top 1%, etc.
God help this country if SHillary’s the Demo pick and that’s all the “choice” we get

I support Edwards and have donated to his campaign. But I would like someone who really didn’t care about all this gay marriage crap. Who cares what other people do?????

Far, far too many rightwing “God is on my side and my side ONLY” Rethuglicans not only care, but see it as a mission to punish anyone who does not do as they say. That’s why this “crap” is an issue.

It’s easy to not care when you’re the one with unquestioned, “default” rights.
