Susan McDougal spent 18 months in jail for criminal contempt for simply refusing to answer yes or no whether Clinton testified falsely in her trial. She was pardoned.

Someone above asked if Clinton ever pardoned anyone who never served time. Yes, Marc Rich.

And I don’t recall that Marc Rich was a part of the Administration and convicted for Obstructing justice in an investigation involving who divulged the identity of a covert agent.

Marc Rich was convicted of tax evasion (a case which Libby himself has stated was inappropriately determined and would have been won on appeal if Mr. Rich had returned to the US to contest it).

So how many tax evasion cases did Daddy Bush, Reagan and Baby Bush pardon? Ever hear of Armand Hammer?
