Thank you again for today’s post. We must all take the time to rest our weary minds and refresh our souls. My little trip back to my childhood has helped restore the blind enthusiasm and can do attitude that we sometimes lose as adults. It’s good to take the armor off. Good day to you!

Christy, with all due respect to your house full of guests,

Maybe the real hint is that the comments
are getting longer because there is more to say
regarding potential direction and action to take.

I don’t care if the comment hangs for the
fraction of additional attention required for
discernment.

I stand by my suggestions,
born of my experience as a unifier of diverse interests
born of my experience as a project manager
born of attention to my fellow citizens
born of my sincerity and convictions

and if valid-though-complex suggestions
will be met with reprobation for not being
a sound bite or for not toeing the line of technicality, then I will reconsider offering
my insights to FDL to accept as a constituent.

Perhaps someone else will be interested.

Sorry it wasn’t a soundbyte.
My aim was to potentiate a wave of productive
strategizing and activity.

I come from a systems view. To wit:
Listen to and take action on the suggestions and
the length of the comments will no longer be a concern.

TribeScribe at 124 — I’ll read it when I get a chance (see note above about house full of company). But I don’t see why it is unfortunate that we try and keep the comments from from scroll trolling considering that has shut down other sites entirely. You are free to make your point in a concise manner — what I’m saying is, you shouldn’t post a long post like that and expect someone to be able to pull it out of mod instantaneously — because that can’t always be done — and I wanted to forewarn everyone that may be a problem, given that we don’t have infinite resources and lately comments have been getting really long from some quarters.

Consider it a helpful hint — and don’t come griping to me if your long comments get stuck if you don’t take it. ;-)

IMPEACH starting with CHENEY.

The concerts are great, though they remind me of the South Park “DFH episode” where the refrain is something ephemeral like, “changing the world through rocking out” etc.

How many people are willing to risk everything?
Drop everything? Immerse themselves for a week (or some defined time frame)
to fight (ATTACK!) this aberration?

TO get in REAL touch with the thus far “untouchables”
i.e., our Republican Reps and Sens AND their constituents?

Are our progressive blog leaders ready
TO coordinate a massive scale FULL COURT PRESS
and appeal to the Souls and Consciences of those on the RIGHT?

TO Judo the h3ll out of their motives???
TO tell them that the only way to:
1) PROVE the integrity of the GOP
2) Authenticate their mission of distancing themselves from BushCo &
3) Give themselves a chance of continued employment in Congress
is
TO JOIN with us to unseat the ROT that has taken over our government.

WE HAVE TO DO THIS IF WE ARE TO SUCCEED.
THIS IS WHERE OUR FOCUS MUST BE.

IT’S SO OBVIOUS IT’S EXCRUCIATING.

Are we so focused on keeping Congress (after 08) to ourselves that we eschew collaborating with those who might share the chamber towards a greater good? We may be have engaged Iran by then. After which all bets are off.
Think about it. Shame on us if we think we can go it alone… (blergh!)

Too bad those out on the lawns and in stadiums on 7.7.07 won’t also be equipped with a list of phone numbers to call and addresses to write.

Being VISIBLE is one thing –
Making your impact on another’s livelihood known is quite another!
(We feel it everyday; turn the tables!)

Joint effort on a massive scale, is what it will take.
