I’m a big fan of Al Gore. Very big fan. But I have yet to hear an explanation for having Joe Lieberman on his ticket. And it certainly calls into question how badly Gore might have been undermined from the inside of his own campaign.

I am completely convinced Lieberman was already a traitor in the midst, back in Gore’s 2000 Presidential campaign.

And I would love to know exactly who specifically it was that “counselled”, influenced and convinced Al Gore (no matter the pretext they used, i.e. Florida/Jewish vote etc) to select what we now know was a Neocon in the midst of a Democratic Presidential Campaign.

It appears that the Neocons did everything to cover their bets on being able to influence the direction they wet-dreamed for America.

Specifically: to make certain they had a Neocon Vice Presidential candidate installed in both the Republican AND Democratic Presidential tickets.

Just think back — and remember:

how cozy, friendly and affable that Vice Presidential “Debate” was back in 2000?

Cozy…? I would call it porn, fluffing, to be specific!

Yeah, the DLC were the perfect carriers to inject the ultra-wealthy über-conservative agenda into the Democratic party, just in case Bu$hitCo was not able to pull off the theft (almost didn’t!).

In some ways (some), it was a good thing that Gore lost because I do not know if he would have understood, until it was too late, how badly had he was with LIEberman and the DLC. I know he is NOT making that mistake today!!! Today, Gore is the man we, humanity, really needs. I am not convinced he would have been all that he is now if he went through the Presidential office back then. Probably would have simply delayed the neo-con takeover, and it would be even worse and more complete once it was accomplished! All the attacks they would have launched on Gore and the Dems in those 4 or 8 years…. it would have been a bloodbath… and the ill-informed, dazed, distracted and suckered Amurican sheeple would have nodded in unison, “tsk, tsk”.

Very Simple. Electoral politics – Lieberman was going to sew up the Jewish vote for him and deliver Florida. And if they could have figured out that butterfly ballot it would have worked. Well, actually it did work anyway but …

This was certainly a part of it, but I think there was a more fundamental reason than that. Remember how badly, outrageously, and deceitfully Gore had gotten shafted by the DC Kewl Kidz/Heathers in the national media for at least 16 months (right after the Impeachment lunacy failed) by the time of the 2000 Democratic Convention — as Bob Somerby excruciatingly documented. Joementum had at that point reached iconic status among the Broders and younger Kewl Kidz of the DC establishment alike. Choosing him as VP was — along with but bigger than the narrow electoral calculus — Gore’s ultimately futile attempt to buy some acceptance from the media establishment that had done nothing but trash him. Of course, blessed by hindsight, we can now see that it never had any chance of working, because the subsequently-revealed principle of IOKIYAR shows how the Versailles media were really about sucking up to corporate money and status.

Joe’s knows this. He’s just throwing red meat to his base.
