I have 20 carpet samples here. Which one should I pick? I am definitly NOT the decider.

Weighing in a day late but…….if at all possible, best to go natural. Bamboo is excellent, sustainable, and cost about the same. Tile is a good alternative to carpet, too.

Here we range from sighs (hubby at 5 AM) to whimpers (me at 5:20) to growls and snarls (teen at any hour before noon)

The cats either look at me like “be glad I don’t have opposable thumbs or I would strangle you”, or just pretend they can’t hear me.

The dog, however, (part border collie, part papa-was-a-rollin-stone) stretches, wags, and “sings” – she doesn’t care if the sun’s up or not, she’s ready to play!

Thanks for the video TRex – I didn’t see it until morning, nice to get a little dose of cute before wading into reality.

BTW, how’s the fire situation in GA now? Smoke’s gone from here in southern Tennessee, now we’re just left with the oppressive heat and a drought that has all fireworks displays for July 4 canceled.

I was just looking at that article over at WaPoo and thinking to myself, “Wow! Now THIS is some hard hitting reporting on some important breaking news!”

For four years, Vice President Dick Cheney has resisted routine oversight of his office’s handling of classified information, and when the National Archives unit that monitors classification in the executive branch objected, the vice president’s office suggested abolishing the oversight unit, according to documents released yesterday by a Democratic congressman.

The Information Security Oversight Office, a unit of the National Archives, appealed the issue to the Justice Department, which has not yet ruled on the matter.
