To me it looks like a last gasp propaganda campaign to save some respectability for Bush.

But, as we all know, he’ll screw it up by saying something like “Hiya Pope.” or by being feted in Albania or something equally surreal.

BTW, Hillary was in California raising money from rich Jews. Think she’s given up on Iowa?

I do not watch much of Sunday TV b/c I work that morning. But I did see part of the Matthews show. It looked like a consensus there that Libby will be pardoned, but not unanimous. And that is the Chris position.

On the other hand, in the local bookstore, the good news in the magazine section shows a lot of “can’t stand Bush” coverage. I am feeling some relief that critical mass has been reached to be through with these nuts, but high angst that the crazies may be moved to create some new disaster. I swear I think the Pres. should be declared incompetent or incapacitated or non compes mentis; do we have an interregnum in this country?

Where’s the hard evidence of that? This sounds like an embellished version of the same non-specific Iranian IED story that has been getting peddled for well over a year.

Hi all, I watched the Colin Powell interview this morning at 8:00Am(On Early beacause of the Frech Open, Go Nadal!)I’m sad to say that it turned out to be “nothing but a lot of hot air and equivocations”. I didn’t hear anything new. He had a chance to tell the truth about being used by this admin, but he declined. It was very sad and a big fat waste of my time…

He is true to his natural form. Expecting something different from Colin Powell is like going to the post office to buy a quart of milk and being disappointed because they didn’t have it.
