The false threats of criminal sanctions when we use our freedoms against the megacorps is an act of intimidation.

The point of citing the Med Board is to put the lie to the false threats.

My friend Sara J who came and got me comforted me by telling me the story of the fine she forgot to pay and the cops came and pulled her out of band-practice and took her to jail. She spent the night in jail, went before the judge in leg-irons and shackles, orange jumpsuit, the whole bit.

That actually did kind of make me feel better.

Where in the Constitution? I think your over reacting

First Amendment.

I know many fine ethical people who have and will continue to use market boycott campaigns against megacorps precisely in orer to hurt corporate share prices and change corporate policy.

This powerful weapon changes corporate behavior – and the lie that those who use this powerful weapon need fear criminal prosecution is a great way to discourage citizens from using it.

I react very strongly whenever I see threats with the end result – and clear intention – to curtail speech and/or non-violent political work.

The more they threaten, the more I yell.

Keeps the First Amendment toobz open.

But once again – I agree with what you stated.

My disagreement is with the misleading threats I quoted.

Buying the Wall Street Journal will cost Rupert money his CABLE channels are where he makes money, I say BLEED him if only the Democratic Presidential Candidates would get behind the idea at a debate that DEMOCRATIC Consumers watching basic cable should not be forced to PAY for Fox News just because they want to watch the Daily Show. That would cause NewsCorp stock to drop like a stone, I bet Rupert is paying for this Journal buyout with a loan guaranteed by his stock if we can cause the price of NewsCorp stock to slip the Banks will ask for MORE stock and CASH. Just like they did to Enron!

You should be a very happy fellow (or gal) if the mods choose to take this post down before some AUSA or SEC Enforcement Division staffer somewhere reads it.

The Forest Protection movement has done it successfully for years.

Megacorps hate and fear it, so their servants spin all manner of threats about this effective weapon.
