‘Meet The Press” aired a brief interview with former GOP senator and “Law & Order” star Fred Thompson Sunday on his possible ‘08 run. Host Tim Russert added after the interview that Thompson was asked what he would do as president, and Thompson replied, “Lots of things.” Russert said that Thompson was asked whether he was prepared to elaborate on any of those things, and Thompson replied, “No.”

Hoover all over again. Of course, Thompson has the bald head thing goin’ for him. Hoover just had engineering expertise.

Today I heard Thompson saying we (America) were ‘a little down’. Hmmm. Is he saying we all need some Vi*gra or uppers? I can’t decide. Of course, his saying we had some differences with the Bush administration is like saying the French people didn’t especially care for Louis and Marie. Yep, that Fredo is a real winner. Heh.

OT: But I just saw Bill Oreilly and Carville agreeing on C-SPAN about the fact that the energy companies are crooks. Weird.

Was that from the recent Panetta Institute appearance in Monterey? Both O’Reilly and Carville were jeered outside by protesters. You’d think Panetta would figure it out that both of these characters are unwelcome in our community.
