Via Crooks and Liars, this McClatchy article on Sen. Joe Liberman (I-CT) and his recent trip to Baghdad caught my eye. Seems Joe and I have a lot in common, since I, too, always go shopping with a large armed retinue at taxpayer expense, station some hidden snipers along my shopping route, while wearing a large helmet and flak jacket ensemble, don't you? (And is it me, or are Lieberman and McCain starting to look an awful lot like a Bobbsey Twins redux?)
After looking at this photo of Senator Lieberman, though, a recurring visual kept running through my brain. Have you ever seen the Bugs Bunny cartoon wherein Bugs and Elmer Fudd spoof on Wagner's Ring opera? The one with Elmer Fudd and his spear and magic helmet?
Yep, that's the one. (Via Youtube. Cue the snickering….now.)
What isn't funny? The fact that the McClatchy reporter appears to have cared enough to dig out some honest discussion from the soldiers stationed in Baghdad — and that he doesn't know whether or not Joe Lieberman bothered to do the same. To wit:
Spc. David Williams, 22, of Boston, Mass., had two note cards in his pocket Wednesday afternoon as he waited for Sen. Joseph Lieberman. Williams serves in the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, N.C., the first of the five "surge" brigades to arrive in Iraq, and he was chosen to join the Independent from Connecticut for lunch at a U.S. field base in Baghdad.
The night before, 30 other soldiers crowded around him with questions for the senator.
He wrote them all down. At the top of his note card was the question he got from nearly every one of his fellow soldiers:
"When are we going to get out of here?"
The rest was a laundry list. When would they have upgraded Humvees that could withstand the armor-penetrating weapons that U.S. officials claim are from Iran? When could they have body armor that was better in hot weather?
Williams missed six months of his girlfriend's pregnancy when he was given six days' notice to return to Iraq for his second tour. He also missed his baby boy's birth. Three weeks ago, he went home and saw his first child.
"He looks just like me," he said. "I didn't want to come back. . . . We're waiting to get blown up."…
"I don't want him to snap his fingers to get things fixed," Williams said, referring to Lieberman. "But he has influence."…
But as he waited two chairs down from where Lieberman would sit, Hedin said he'd never voice his true feelings to the senator.
"I think I'd be a private if I did," he joked. "It's just more troops, more targets."
In the past two months, the unit has lost two men. In May alone, at least 120 U.S. troops died in Iraq, the bloodiest month in 2007 and the highest number since the battles of Fallujah in 2004.
Spc. Kevin Krasco, 20, of Medford, Mass., and Spc. Kevin Adams, 20, of Moosup, Conn., chimed in with their dismay before turning the conversation to baseball.
"It's like everything else in this war," Adams said, referring to Baghdad. "It hasn't changed."
Yes, but on whose behalf will Sen. Lieberman use his "influence" – his own ego and reputation and that of his BFFs John McCain and George Bush? Or on behalf of the soldiers and their families from Connecticut and everywhere else across the country. Now that is the question, isn't it? If some journalist with access to Sen. Lieberman could follow-up on this, it would be much appreciated.

Morning, Christy:
Lieberman.
Morning Biodun — yup.
So tell me.
Does it look like Joe is trying to buy a Rolex knockoff?
Now, tell me why Holy Joe with his rubbery face stuffed into a helmet like that should not count as a Mike Dukakis moment.
I posted this on a thread earlier yesterday:
The photo from CNN is also worth a look.
Biodun @ 6
Notice he doesn’t actually specify what has progressed….
Actually, it’s a buck-and-a-quarter quarterstaff, but I’m not teling him that.
Dodge, thrust, parry, spin…SMACK!
O.M.G. he is Elmer Fudd!! 707
the youtube is PERFECT!!1!!!!
Do these *uckers never learn? How long before this market gets zeroed for a mortar attack or a suicide bomber?
Photo of Lieberman4Lieberman in the helmet is priceless. A picture is worth a thousand words.
EvilDrPuma @ 5
DINGDINGDING!!!
the really interesting thing about that foto is that the guy most likely to get killed–the shop-keeper–ain’t wearing any ‘protection’ at all…
he’s likely a dead man walking, and knows it…
if i were an iraqi, i wouldn’t let lieberfuck or any other USer congresscritter within 100 yards of me…
liarman reminds me a little of Dukakis in a tank, don’t he? wunner if he got a deal on rugs?
his concave chest doesn’t come CLOSE to filling up that vest…
.
Raw Story: CBS: Iraqi PM doesn’t trust his military, says coup possible
Kill da’ wabbit!!
dakine01 @ 12
Seconded!
Yes, but on whose behalf will Sen. Lieberman use his “influence” …
Don’t forget Israel, Christy.
I think this trip is a shark-jumping moment for Joe. I know, I know, he jumped long ago for everyone here, but I think the rest of the country is now going to catch up.
I like the picture. Is that what folks in Connecticut are wearing to the mall this year?
John Casper @ 16
sorry. he’s already been bought.
EPU’d, pls pardon OT from this topic
—————
Not quite, GSD, and worse; Bush mocked her BEFORE her death, during his “sober, gubernatorial consideration” of her plea for commutation of the death sentence, IIRC, saying “Please don’t kill me!” in a high squeaky voice to belittle the life of this convicted murderer who had nevertheless made a convincing religious conversion. An asocial psychopath, and I’m not talking about the Late Ms. Tucker.

Is KO off all week? I would love to see him cover this.
Rather than the Wagnerian Elmer Fudd, in my fuzzy cartoon memory I am seeing one where Bugs has a WWI doughboy helmet on. I don’t have time to go looking for it. Does anyone remember that visual?
You know the one thing that Lieberman forgot to get at the market was a clue. Another missed opportunity.
I’m sure the market was glad to see Holy Joe and his entourage of snipers. They could be pretty sure that they were safe from car bombs for that day.
So HoJo pulls a McCain. I guess all the shit that McCain caught for his shopping trip didn’t register with Joe at all. Maybe it is because they both belong to the William Shatner school of politics. No shame at all.
I think the “TB all the time” story is going to ultimately backfire…
Progress indeed:
noblejoanie @ 17
i have NEVER trusted Liarman to behave as a US citizen–to say nothing of his being a US SENATOR–first, in a situation where the interests of the Israeli war party were threatened…
i believe this with respect to HoJo, alone, and by it mean to implicate no one else…
.
LS @ 27
You mean by pointing out all the security holes this guy was able to slip through and how little protection we have against things?
Short
BusRideJoe sees progress… without the helmet of course. Please don’t miss this EPU’d downstairs.
The judge is going to release the Libby support letters!
WAY TO GO JANE & MARCY!!!

Mr. McGoo sees progress.
John Casper @ 11
They’ve just got to get a little taste of the death and destruction they have wrought for themselves. You just can’t quite get a feel for the carnage just from reading the newspapers, I guess.
Adie @ 32
Hallelujah, let there be light!
beth meacham @ 25
But sure to be targets today and moving forward when all the protection for LIEberman are gone back to their normal duties…
It just makes me so sad. I know as a person from CT that the “senator” is totally unresponsive. That poor kid from CT will get NO relief from Liarman. Nor will any of the other troops. And they are worried about being blown up.
. . . And Liarman does look like Elmer Fudd.
dakine01 @ 30
Exactly. This will really scare the remaining 29%. It will get their attention. Problem is, they’ll run to Gouliani to protect them…
WOO HOO!
Go Jane and Marcy!!
Remember looseheadprop wants us to look for letters written on official or government stationery, a big no-no ethically. Let the fun begin!
The Looney Tunes was great, but when I saw McCain and now LIEberman in their Magic Helmets, I was reminded of Dukakis in the tank, arguably HIS “jump-the-shark” moment. :)
——
Oho, I see on going back in this string that I’m not the only one with this same reaction! Pardon my slow reaction time, fellow-’Pups! :)
Mandrake @ 15
Not to compare Barney Franks to Elmer Fudd, but when I hear Franks talk, I get this image of him going into the cloakroom saying “Shhh, I’m hunting wapublicans”.
Be very, very, quiet, I’m hunting wabbits…
More Lieberman:
White powder in VA hospital in Miami…boy, there must be something else brewing that we don’t know about – maybe more carnage in Iraq, or another scandal about to hit.
Stephen Parrish, CPA @ 14
Most of the Iraqi military is either Shia or Kurd. What Maliki is talking about here is his rationale for purging what few Sunnis remain in the army. Of course, coup fears can be used to target anyone including Shia and Kurdish officers who show either too much competence or independence but for now the main focus is on the Sunni.
EvilDrPuma @ 5
S.O.S. from MA @ 40
EXACTLY. I thought of Dukakis immediately when I clapped eyes on that photo.
He is swimming in that vest and helmet (no surprise, what a lightweight in the heart and head).
And that poor Iraqi has a look like, “Damn, I am so effed after this *sshole leaves; he’s handing me a death sentence.”
s’cuse, but is the esteemed stentor buying a set of little silver spoons?
OMG he looks stoopid. yer right Christy. give ‘im a lil’ plastic spear & stand ‘im in the back row lip-synch[ophant]ing….

You gotta give him some credit. I think SlowJoe was just trying to stay on Coulter/Limbaugh/Malkin/Beck Republican message……
“We’re killing anonymous brown people over in Iraq/Iran so you don’t have to kill anonymous brown people in America……YET.”
Or something like WhetherVain McCain would agree to: Preserving the ‘white, Christian, male power structure.’
Is this progress?

His name’s Representative Barney Frank, and I damn well wish he was my Rep. Representative Jim McGovern ain’t bad — but he’s no Barney Frank.
Oops – me at 49 – that’s Marcy’s post from yesterday. Nothing new at TNH yet.

Lou Costello @ 55
The white, Christian male power structure, huh? And a big round of applause for Grand Wizard O’Reilly and Senator McKKKain…
Biodun @ 43
Pollyanish? The only one who’s pollyanish is Liarman going skippdy do through the market while military trail him at the expense of taxpayers, and then going skippydy do to talk to the troops and turning the meeting into an opportunity to gleefully shill talking points. Skippdy Do.
That poor kid from Chester.
128 butchered troops so far this month- 123 of em US- the balance are the coalition of the willing.
Flak vest cartoon:
Liarman going to Iraq is a classic example of the right wing trying to create their own reality.
Yeah, YOU, Lieberman, RIGHT WING.
Just thinking here (Dangerous, yes…)
Wouldn’t it be an interesting Peace Protest for something like 4th of July or somesuch, to organize a “Let’s Go Shopping Like We’re In Bahgdad Day?”
We could all dress up in little Buggs Bunny helmets and improvised “flak jackets” and just go about our everyday chores at the supermarket and the Jiffy Lube and such.
Just to make a bit of a comment on how NOT normal things are over there to the 20%’ers?
Now here’s one way to achieve progress, I suppose:

“The court has received more than 150 sentencing letters in this case, some urging leniency for the defendant and some expressing opprobrium at the defendant’s actions and calling for the imposition of a substantial prison sentence,” Walton wrote.

I assume this means that the names will be there. If the letters were written on official stationary, will that be on there, too? I would assume that, since that information should not be deemed personal.
S.O.S. from MA @ 58
Sorry about that.
Just another photo-op by a pampered and priviledged member of Amereica’s ruling elite. They are truly shameless. Like the Senators of Rome that would go to the frontiers of the Empire with private body guards in tow to monitor the progress of the Legions in expanding the imperial domain. Let him live in Iraq for just a month and not in the Green Zone and then he might having something meaningful to add to the discourse.
Gnome de Plume @ 85
I read Walton’s statement to mean that yes, the names will be there. We’ll see how he handles official stationery, but I would guess that it will be fair game.
Hey.
Everyone ought to fire up the rightwing with this quote:
Nouri Al Maliki speaks:
“Al-Maliki also insisted that his government is not ordered around by the Americans, saying, “The Americans don’t order us to do this or not to do that. On the contrary, we’re the ones who tell them to do this and don’t do that.”
Yet in Bush’s SOTU speech in 2004 Bush said:
BUSH: America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country.

Oh boy, I simply cannot wait until my letter is published! I am so proud that, at the behest of the FDL Mods and community, I set finger to kbd and sent the Honorable Judge Reggie Walton my own considered request (for a maximum sentence).

Interesting to watch the uptake by mainstream media in regards to the Libby letters decision.
If you refresh that link a few more times during the course of the day, sorting by date, you’ll notice when and whether other outlets besides AP bylining Matt Apuzzo picks up this story. I’ve already seen two outlets drop off the list even though it was the same AP story and feed.
Note how little coverage the story has gotten this entire week — in spite of the impending sentencing.

Are they having a Civil War over there?
And of course if Lieberman got zapped trying to show how “safe” Baghdad is, Cheney would blame it on Iran, bombs would rain on Teheran, and the Iraqi Shiites would join the Iraqi Sunnis in attacking US troops.
Arrrrgh.
Here’s a change of pace: Former Minnesota SoS and rabid nutball Mary Kiffmeyer may have helped get former USA Tom Heffelfinger put on the chopping block (which he apparently avoided only by leaving before he could be chopped).

Liarman is correct, more death and destruction in Iraq is progress only in the reverse. Makes perfect sense to any wingnut.

FROM FOX…federal judge said Thursday he will release more than 150 letters he received regarding next week’s sentencing of former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby.
Libby, who was convicted in March of perjury and obstruction in the CIA leak case, had asked that the letters not be released. Attorneys for several news organizations argued that the law required the letters be made public.
U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton agreed, citing a need for transparency.
“The court has received more than 150 sentencing letters in this case, some urging leniency for the defendant and some expressing opprobrium at the defendant’s actions and calling for the imposition of a substantial prison sentence,” Walton wrote.
The letters will be released after Libby is sentenced June 5, Walton said. Addresses and other personal information will not be released.

It has been 5 and 1/2 years since 9/11. We have to take off shoes, get wanded, be on no-fly lists, Patriot Act, Guantanamo, extraordinary rendition, loss of Habeas Corpus – Yet, the borders are basically the same. Makes me wonder…..
Also ew provides a link about Tim Griffin resigning Friday.
It’s a good week, isn’t it?
So HoJo, you were wrong about “progress” in 2005 but now we are supposed to believe you are correct? Just a reminder of what you said two years ago:
“The country is now in reach of going from Saddam Hussein to self-government and, I’d add, self-protection,” the Connecticut Democrat said in a conference call with reporters. “That would be a remarkable transformation … I saw real progress there.”

The TB guy certainly showed one way the borders are porous. He flew into Montreal with his new bride, rented a car, and drove in from Canada through Champlain, NY. I love it!
After reading Thomas Ricks’s “Fiasco” I came away with the impression that Odierno was a bad actor – simply a bad guy. (You know, views all Iraqis as “the enemy,” and believe “force is the only thing they understand.”)
It is a terrible indictment of the Army’s senior leadership that he continues to rise through the ranks.

Anybody, nomatter how experienced or talented (Shinseki, Abizaid,…) has been culled out by the Decider. Sort of like what happened to the Soviet General Staff in the leadup to WWII.
egregious @ 156
You think there’s more to this? Is it to take job w/ Thompson or is this an “I need to spend more time w/ Andy Card’s family” moment?
egregious @ 156
Just show me one week that hasn’t been good since January. *g*
TiredFed here’s Marcy’s quote, her emphasis:
“Walton:
To the extent that the defendant believes that the sentencing letters contain private information about the letters’ authors (other than home addresses and telephone numbers) that should, in his estimation, be redacted before the letters are publicly disclosed, he should immediately, but no later than 9:00 a.m. on June 4, 2007, identify this information to the court in an ex parte submission. However, the Court advises the defendant that it will not be inclined to redact such information unless it is plainly sensitive or confidential.[my emphasis]” [Marcy’s]
Dear Judgie,
Please let Scooter stay free.
I’m sleeping with him.

you know, if I saw this as a stand alone picture I’d think this was some spoof on snl
it’s too assinine and rediculous to be true and nobody could be so stupid as to have a shot taken looking like that if they were trying to say all is well in Iraq
but there joe is and he is more detatched from reality then even I believed
At least Dukakis donned a helmet to ride in a tank. It’s an order of magnitude wussier to put on a helmet and Kevlar to shop for sunglasses.
But if helmet and Kevlar indicate nothing special about the deterioration of Iraq — I mean, if they represent nothing more than a sartorial choice — then we should expect, nay demand, that HoJo wear them everywhere: in the Senate, on excursions to Walmart with Hadassah, to AEI bloodlust galas….
And wherever Joe goes, we should follow right behind with signs reading, “What, no helmet?”
LS @ 154
I travelled through Germany in the mid-1970s. Believe me, what we go through now is NOTHING compared to those searches. Granted, we still had our freedoms back home. Now, not so much.
John Casper, dakine, EvilDrPuma.
It struck me as a “Dukakis moment”, too, but Dukakis didn’t endanger a company of soldiers and a whole market full of Iraqis during his moment. Dukakis at least had the good sense to only endanger himself.
Calling it a Dukakis moment implies that it was just silly. This thing, sadly, was far worse than silly. It’s going to get people killed, and you can bet that the AP won’t be covering it when that happens.
ralphbon @ 169
Speaking of Hadassah, does she get 3/5ths the pay of the other lobbyists in her firm?
OT but for any other old movie buffs, TCM is showing a couple of Bogie & Bacall movies this afternoon starting at 1:30PM EDT – To Have and Have Not then The Big Sleep at 3:30.
punaise @ 153
707! I can just see it!
Cujo359 @ 171
Please see my comment #74…It is possible to see both the absurd and the serious at the same time…
OT–
Just the news we’ve been waiting for. Manhattan DA Arthur Branch told his media sponsors that he’s resigning to run for President. He told them he’ll be of more help to them if he gets to the Oval Office.
egregious @ 165
thanks eg. my sense from the order (I pulled off PACER and sent to Redd) is that names will be shown but not addresses or phone numbers or other private info (like cell #s, email addresses, etc.).
TiredFed @ 169
If I thought my family was in danger of being attacked by terrorists who hate us for our freedoms and were attempting to come into this country to kill us, the very first thing I would do would be to immediately ramp up border security. That is not what happened, and I think it is telling.
Biodun @ 159
What’s to love about it? I don’t understand how you find this amusing.

you mean they arent gonna follow us back here? /snark.
Personally I wish Senator Lieberman could be forced to watch this offering courtesy of Scarce, one of the bloggers at MyLeftNetmeg:
Connecticut’s War Dead
Preferably on an endless loop. It still makes me sick that Ned lost.
sorry if that sounded mean-spirited.I have been buried in the weeds on the DOJ docs combing for evidence on the USA firings and now I have one of those meetings with the boss (”what have you been up to lately?”) after lunch.
Solai @ 164
looks like he’s going to Thompson’s campaign
Aide in Talks
TiredFed @ 179
How about they’re over here, while we’re over there.
May the Dems who voted for the occupation funding read this…
More money, more killing now don’t make you feel tingly all over giving money to the killer in chief. Pathetic bloody Dems!
Biodun @ 176
I’m eagerly awaiting Mrs. Thompson’s first wardrobe malfunction.
Ridicule is lethal to political campaigns.

{Huh? Oh, probably; but, I’m telling ya, I don’t know nothin’ about no html.}
I’ve said this before. This administration uses government agencies for 2 purposes and 2 purposes only:
-Increase wealth
-Increase power
That’s it.
dakine01 @ 174
I thought I’d explained that I had. My disgust at this stunt is what’s showing here, not my inability to appreciate its absurdity.
Cujo359 ,
Hey!
been awhile.
I surfed through your place just yesterday.
nomolos @ 185
Send it to them, on a postcard with flag-draped coffins on the front… I may use it on the ones I send tomorrow.
Department of Transportation – suspicious package…TB man….White powder, Miami…
What is really going on????
Rayne @ 62
My fav is The Rabbit of Seville. I’m wondering when Robertson, Dobson & Co. will condemn the final scene as “pro- Gay marriage”. *g*
Bustednuckles @ 189
Hey, Bustedknuckles!
I’ve been working most days lately, so it’s been hard to either be here or do blogging.
Re Odierno, yes, he is an idiot. Besides that he seems to reflect whatever the current philosophy on Iraq happens to be. When shock and awe was in, he was all for it. When Abizaid and Casey pressed for removal to superbases and troop reductions, he was for that too. Now the order of the day is Petraeus and the surge so now he’s for that. In fact, Odierno has been pushing for a continuation of the surge and not judging it until well into next year.
I don’t know if this is reported yet but;
let’s hope the judge also releases the letters that ask the government to exact as harsh a sentence as allowed
Wordsmith @ 179:
The joke is on the Department of Homeland Security, not on the irresponsible guy who drove across the border into the US.
Elliott @ 183.
Thanks, I knew Griffin’s resignation wasn’t to do with anything involving the current U.S. Attorneys mess, and I had seen something last night about Griffin but couldn’t remember where.
Per your previous comment: “looks like he’s going to Thompson’s campaign Aide in Talks.”
Cujo359 @ 189
My comment @ 74 was stating that if this vendor pictured is found dead in the next week, LIEberman is culpable in the death and asking who was going to point that fact out to him…
You were commenting on my #12, not #74
I loved that stuff when I was a kid.
I still like the big red monster.
Compare that to SpongeBob etc.
Makes me wonder if are children are learnin’.
*cough cough*
Biodun @ 197
Gotcha….
Evaculation of Dept of Transportation – suspicious package – more Rovian fear and loathing stunts to distract the media whores? Nah, our government wouldn’t stoop to such stunts – silly me.
dakine01 @ 198
Yep, read it, and you’ll get no argument from me on that point.
Mudshark @ 113
I’m still chuckling over Loo Hoo’s caption … “Sergeant Schultz in Iraq … and I still know nuffink!!!” Oklahoma kiddo @ 129
… or at least explain why they cannot do so …
christ almighty. the shopkeeper must think this guy is a total tool.
Is that market owner dead yet?
This is spot on, and it’t most likely not if, but when.

All except Elmer Fudd.
All the mind pictures have made me laugh, but I still think Joe looks like Yoda – although I liked Yoda.

Cujo359 @ 171
You’re absolutely correct.
And in the event, we weren’t sure, here’s the proof: America Ranks Low in the Peace Index.
The United States is among the least peaceful nations in the world, ranking 96th between Yemen and Iran, according to an index of 121 countries.
In the lowest 20%!
EvilDrPuma @ 5
I sure won’t.
If he’d only pulled this stunt at this time last year, Ned Lamont might well be sitting in Joe’s chair right now.
(UPDATE: Oh, and what Cujo and JC said.)
John Casper @ 11

Allan @ 186, wait until the female wingnuts get a load of Mrs. T. Woweee.

Old 60 grit may have a stroke
Jeez, I hope one of the 150 letters is from the Lieberman family….
Has anyone figured out what the Clusterfuckers are up to regarding Iraq? They are now speaking as if “Baker-Hamilton” was piece of genius- so perhaps once the surge has run it’s course- which they may try to stretch into next year- it will be the year of “Baker-Hamilton” in 08-just in time for the election.
Since damned near all dems embraced “Baker-Hamilton” it would be difficult to turn Iraq into a campaign issue if that’s what the approach turns out to be..
Of course it will be a Clusterfucked “Baker-Hamilton- but all the same it may be good politics.
TeddySanFran @ 218
And I hope it’s on Senate stationery
Lieberman is using any influence he has on Israel… any military action in a Muslim country is a good one because it (ostensibly) makes Israel more secure… HA!
Williams missed six months of his girlfriend’s pregnancy when he was given six days’ notice to return to Iraq for his second tour. He also missed his baby boy’s birth.
punishment from God for pre-marital relations…
Pete Bogs @ 221
From a practical point of view, I hope they got married–so that she and the baby will be eligible for his life insurance.
In your face zionism in the heart of the ARAB WORLD. Like the “bring it on comment” by dubya. Swagger arrogance is this. What happened to “walk softly and carry a big stick”? What would Molly Ivins have said? The eternal war and the Dems rolled on us. I want no part of collusion but the parade of western asshole is fodder for al Jezzera and great terrorist recruiting I am sad to say. Our teoops pay the price for the neocon madness. How can it be allowed? Stupifying! All the leaders are lawyers not patriots with principals.
Coming to the thread late, again… but did anyone mention the cameo that LIEberman made at about 3:40 into the cartoon?
(The Horse’s ASS turns around and sits down)
(rimshot!)
The future’s so bright, he’s gotta wear shades!
I couldn’t agree more. By all rights, watching HoJo parade around in an outfit that makes Mike Dukakis’ tank getup look positively butch by comparison should be hilarious. He looks like a cross between Sargent Shultz and Droopy Dog.
But in a couple of the pics I’ve seen from this little stunt, Lieberman looks honestly terrified, even surrounded as he is by heavily armed escorts. You can practically smell the fear radiating off him. For him to go through that and then revert to Business As Usual once he’s safely back home, parroting the usual happy talk bullshit, is just too fucking much.
That picture is a FAKE! Call Michelle Malkin!
It was clearly staged, there are metal stalls that sell jewlery EXACTLY like that on the boardwalk in Venice Beach. It could have been taken anywhere. I want proof.
If we don’t fight them over there the wabbits will follow us home!
By the way you just derailed my late night blog reading and I am now watching all the looney toons I can find on youtube. Guess politics will have to wait.
