How, pray tell, did it serve Israel’s purposes to release hundreds of thousands of TONS of high-explosives, shells, and even nuclear material into the region?

As with everything else Bushco — it’s equal opportunity DESTRUCTION of interests, sooner or later (except for his clique). Bushco’s clique certainly includes the rightwing Israeli gov’t, but what is your evidence that Rahm is associated with that faction, instead of with the more normal interests of Israel.

There are moderate elements in every society. Bushco has murdered many of Iraqi’s finest moderates, and deeply destabilized the ME. That serves his interests, but simply having an interest in Israel is not = Bushco as a lot of leftists pretend.

Personally I agree, among the ways Americans have squandered their period having the most attractive country is in getting a servant class rather than the best educated and brightest– and those with long traditions of democratic institutions.

One can be a Democrat simply by saying so. There is no entrance exam, no test, no performance review for Democrat-ness.

So, why are we surprised that The Money Party has their people in the Democratic Party?
