Kathleen @ 66

Rahm has dual citizenship in Israel and the U.s.

“Enter Rahm Emmanuel. Until 1978 a dual Israeli-American citizen,”

So, no, your evidence attests that he is NOT dual citizenship.

“a former officer in the Israeli army some allege (unsubstantiated),”

And also UNTRUE.

Rahm Emmanuel is part of our caucus. He is NOT the enemy, although he is representative of a very powerful set of interests which are indeed affected by Bushco ME policy.

HOWEVER, no one can suggest that Israel has benefited from what Bushco has done in Iraq (or may do to Iran)!

How, pray tell, did it serve Israel’s purposes to release hundreds of thousands of TONS of high-explosives, shells, and even nuclear material into the region?

As with everything else Bushco — it’s equal opportunity DESTRUCTION of interests, sooner or later (except for his clique). Bushco’s clique certainly includes the rightwing Israeli gov’t, but what is your evidence that Rahm is associated with that faction, instead of with the more normal interests of Israel.

There are moderate elements in every society. Bushco has murdered many of Iraqi’s finest moderates, and deeply destabilized the ME. That serves his interests, but simply having an interest in Israel is not = Bushco as a lot of leftists pretend.

Did you say “amaze and impress”? Or “digust and dispirit”? Cause I was gonna say.

If you look, statistically, at the polarization of the electorate, then the “third way” is (as Republicans have obviously long concluded), a headfirst rush into a pit. A stroll into the valley of death.

Rahm is an insidious Neocon, out to neuter the Middle East so that all oil pipelines run through Israel. Rahm would rather bomb Iran than sleep with Dallas Cheerleaders.

That Rahm gets to pick, choose, and <strike>or not</strike> support democratic candidates means more votes for Republicans. Rahm has proved perfectly willing to sacrifice party loyalties for the greater good of his AIPeckerhead buddies.

Rahm could cost the demwits the elections.

How did Rahm get his job? How was he selected?

The AIPeckerheads fronted Rahm the money and clout to land the job.

Other candidates were frozen out.

Senator Lieberamann also has a dual citizenship.

Check out Liebermanns push for military action against Iran. The tape cuts off as Senator Hagel begins to talk about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

My real question is how can we get rid of Rahm?

Are there any other Reps who have dual citizenship? Rahm does!

I know that in my region (rural west coast) support of amnesty would kill most candidates. The only thing that could cause dems to lose in ‘08 in my opinion. And the Republican’s greatest vulnerability, after Bush’s support of it.

Personally I agree, among the ways Americans have squandered their period having the most attractive country is in getting a servant class rather than the best educated and brightest– and those with long traditions of democratic institutions.

One can be a Democrat simply by saying so. There is no entrance exam, no test, no performance review for Democrat-ness.

So, why are we surprised that The Money Party has their people in the Democratic Party?

So,

NC-08- Hayes v Kissell (60,926 vs 60,597)
OH-02- Mean Jean v Vic Wulsin (120,112 vs 117,595)
CO-04- Musgrove v Angie Paccione (104,876 vs 97,670)
NY-29- Kuhl v Massa (99,926 vs 93,974)
NY-25- Walsh v Maffei (105,235 vs 101,322)
WA-08- Reichert v Burner (61,921 vs 59,268)

Nice list, can we hope they will run again? And Diane Benson, Christine Cegelis, Ned Lamont.

Massa appears to be running again
