As for the racism and coordinated attacks on “illegal aliens” and ,generally, folks of color…this is jest part of the dominant corporate ideology locked in after 1877. All the patterns of fear mongering’, race-bating, religious exclusion and scapegoating we have seen in the last 6 years are consistent with the mainstreamin’ of Nazi ideology in the last years of Wiemar. That the American oligarchy was closely connected to and actually deeply invested in the rise of Hitler, is no secret and the Walker-Bush crime family involvement goes back to war profiteering’ with the Krupps in WWI thru old Prescott and Henry Ford’s joint ventures with the Austrian paper-hanger.

What we have today is a fully mainstreamed fascist politics built around the blueprint of the Nazis in the early 1930’s…the corporate oligarchy in this country is now committed, it’s all er nuthin’. If we don’t develop an anti-fascist “big tent” movement that includes public committment to criminal trials, impeachment and war crimes investigations and identifies and isolates the corporatists in every race in every district in every state in the union in ‘08…well then, we’re toast and the rest of the world will isolate us and worse.

We don’t have time to play parliamentary parlor games with supplemental budget resolutions and congressional investigative hearings without subpoenas to the decision-makers. The fascists have the legal system (they have had it since the Civil War) and only an FDR-like landslide and implementation of Democratic reconstruction can save us.

We hafta use the new media and the non-governmental political associations like Move-On and People for the American Way to form a mass movement to get millions in the streets all over this country and shut down business as usual.

Only direct action can force the Democratic Party to separate itself from the corporate fascist money.

On Monday at 5:20 a.m., federal agends from ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) swept up “fugitive aliens” in Southern Colorado. In Pueblo, they arrested a man who was in the process of becoming a legal alien. The only “splotch” on his record was drunk driving charges that were were dropped –9 yrs. ago.

A construction worker without any criminal record, he was torn from his 4-yr. old daughter and wife, who said “I don’t think I can be without him. He’s the main provider of our house.” This man was carted off to Denver, 100 miles north, without being allowed to get dressed.

This is clearly a racist (or ethnic) vendetta that has nothing to do with anything but hatred of the brown skinned.

Oh, you haven’t been out of the state at all? Of course, Texas is so big that you could travel state line to state line still in Texas, where on the East Coast, you’d have covered several states in the same distance.

I definitely approve of travel; travel is good, very very good.
